  1. Past hour
  2. Jacoby Brissett would've been nice...if he wasn't now the Cardinals starter.
  3. Your Opinion. Bryce is a better decsion maker and a more accurate passer. Your obsession over a QB that can throw it deep is insane. Throwing the deep ball is not the only requirement of a QB. Whether you want to admit it. Bryce as won his last 4 games as a starter.
  4. Yeah, proposing such a trade or it happening isn’t what that convo was about. He asked a question with a super easy answer. What would you prefer as a franchise. The question was answered. I realize Bryce Young competed 11 passes for 100 yards at a 50 something clip. Bryce doesn’t suck because I say so. He tells you. Our coaches tell you. And the standard we judge the play of the 31 other teams tells you. PJ Walker was 4-3 as a starter. By Bryce Young logic he was Tom Brady.
  5. Why does stopping a podcast mean they are no longer die hard Panther fans? They are not the only podcast I listen to that has said they don’t know how long they can keep so it when the Panthers looked like this season was more of the same.
  6. Geno fits Canales and fits the O. It’s why Geno worked in Seattle and not Oakland. He is a deep ball passer. NFL is about fit. Geno would beat Bryce out in 2 weeks in a real camp battle. Which ain’t Geno praise. It’s just recognition Geno is a round peg and that is what we are lacking
  7. Awesome idea. Let's make Cincinnati an offer. I'm 100% sure they are ready to give up on Burrow. That is if you can keep him on the field. He's been available how many games over that past 3 seasons? Getting Burrow is about as realistic as finding the allusive Rainbow Unicorn. Do you realize that Young was responsible for 19 of the 40 yards on that final drive? Rico had 21 yards. Both of those completions were for first downs. That's what game winning drives require. It doesn't require the QB to throw the ball each and every down. You do know this? It's clear that you won't give credit where credit is due. While Bryce isn't your typical "Franchise QB" he's running the gameplan our coaching staff designs. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Bryce sucks because you say so.
  8. This team is built to win, which I said at the start of the season. I'm not saying we are a super bowl contender, but it's a playoff roster. The big handcuff is at the QB position. If Bryce Young cannot start playing at a professional level we are going to continue struggling and stealing wins instead of punching people in the mouth like we should. The reality is we should be sitting at 2 losses and have blown several teams out, including Green Bay, but having absolutely NOTHING in the passing game is holding us back badly. Point being, in this current scenario our best hope is that we barely make the playoffs and get absolutely obliterated in the first round.
  9. Are you kidding? Geno Smith isn't the answer. i would say there might be one or two backups in the league that could possibly step-in and be better than Young. I've mentioned Sam Howell but that's about it. You want Canales to QB whisper a Trey Lance or someone else. Maybe but that QB is NOT going to come in and replace BY right away.
  10. Tampa's next 4 games are against the Pats, Bills, Rams and Cardinals. It's very likely that they could lose 2 or 3 games through that stretch. If we can win the next 2 games versus the Saints and Falcons and split between the 49ers and Rams, we will have a real shot at winning this division.
  11. I understood. Again, give me Joe Burrow all day, every day and twice on Sunday over Bryce Young. Because when Burrow is ready to roll they are worlds apart. Joe Burrow elevates everyone around him and is a legit stud QB. Bryce Young ain’t winning games. Rico Dowdle and the Panthers have won multiple games in sort of anomaly fashion repeatedly in spite of having a backup caliber QB. In no scenario would I pick a backup caliber QB over Joe Burrow. I can just play a backup when Joe can’t go Burrow had lead the NFL in comp%, yards and passing TDs. A multi Pro Bowler. A postseason QB. An MVP candidate multiple seasons. No way in hell am I picking the Bryce Young Panthers era over that if given the choice of the two. this Bryce schtick is sad and whack. And a healthy % of the Bryce “hate” is just pushback on absurdity
  12. I think we can agree that Bryce is up at the top in terms of NAVIGATING the offense. Ive seen time and time again he understands where the play and the ball NEEDS to go. It's his physical limitations that put him in a bind. If you could put his head on a guy with good arm strength and touch you'd have a consistent pro bowler. But we've got what we've got.
  13. You keep on acting like the police if it makes you feel better bub. We'll be right here like we always have.
  14. It's the fickle ones who always have the most to say about what they think a fan should or shouldn't be. Comical.
  15. A guy who can run play action well, with Rico, could slow down that pass rush.
  16. Logan Wilson traded to Cowboys... Cowboy fans thought it was gonna be Chubb or Hendrickson lol
  17. I wouldn't mind trying him a free safety. He was a good zone corner... good at read n react
  18. Trade Bryce to Washington for a small random and rape in the draft for a 26' playoff push
  19. I wouldn’t want to see us give a third away in an in season deal for a player we have to pay good money to on top of the pick. Like, really would not like it.
  20. Any chance asanti Samuel jr wants to come here? I know he played really well his first few years in the league but may have been ass lately. He's coming off a broken back but would he be an upgrade over Mike Jack? Wouldn't have to trade for him
  21. Looking at the way this team operates and surveying who is available... I think these names will be talked about adding... Von Miller(connection with Evero) low compensation and vet leadership Bradley Chubb(same as above) if compensation is around a 3rd I think 1 of these guys have a high chance to be a Panther by 4pm. Both have 4 sacks on the year btw
  22. Lol that always got me started. It was such a bad rationalization by Gettleman. Made no sense. Right up there with the Bryce is Brees comps for me, for absurdity.
  23. That’s fair. But the level of likelihood that this is a possible reality is low until it isn’t. Just checking is not negotiating. You want a thread every time a rumor gets floated? Do we have a trade deadline thread?
  24. This doesn't seem like a bad source. DM has said he's going to be in on every deal, whether he actually pulls the trigger is the only question. In the draft he had an offer from the Rams for T-Mac but they did not want to give Dan what he wanted. The price was definitely in our favor. I don't see why some many people are getting their panties in wad over the possibility that we trade for a position of need. Pick up a player that is under contract for next season. If you give up a 4th or 5th round pick for a starter, that's not giving up draft capital that's building a solid team. That's addressing a position we don't have to necessarily address in the draft or free agency. What I find funny is the Bryce haters would rather pick up a QB to replace a QB that has won his last 4 games. Yeah, I know he doesn't throw deep very often. That's not our identity. We want to control the ball and keep those high-powered offenses off the field. They can't score if they don't have the ball. If we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties, we actually do a pretty good job of controlling the ball. Bottom line If there is a player of need and he's on the market. IMO it's Dan's job to kick the tires on EVERY position we need.
  25. The same way they kept drafting tall receivers to cover Cam overthrowing the ball?
