I kinda agree that Yosh will be the answer next season. Maybe a day 2 or 3 guy at offensive tackle as a developmental project. They have to take a stab at a blue chip pass rusher and/or ILB early.

He did play better against the Rams. But that's the crux of the issue. He is closing in on 50 career games. There have been plenty of past Panthers QB's who ultimately weren't the answer who would have undoubtedly flashed here and there if we had given them this many starts. Hopefully Dan Morgan actually fields a realistically competitive QB room this go around and we will be able to see the offense with someone else in the event we see the same thing with Bryce. IE one game he stinks plays better for a few games then stinks again then plays better one game stinks again then plays better for a few games because the heat is on. Like cmon enough with this. Lew is ranked as the first or second center in this draft. Proctor is, what, fourth or fifth ranked tackle? Admittedly, it's hard to compare across different positions and make judgments on relative value. Morgan may very well take the BPA defender at 19 and Lew in the second. Lew might be capable of starting (yes, it might look ugly for a game or two), where Proctor would certainly struggle if asked to start at LT and be asked to protect BY's blind side. But I'm just a retired numbers guy so, what do I know?
