I would start exploring options, for sure. Look, it's not just this. He has genuinely never been able to recapture that rookie season juice. Even this past season, the team looked better with Mills in there and he ain't great. Look up those replays and see the looks he had on the sideline injured and watching them win. I think his confidence keeps getting lower and I genuinely think he may never recover from this. It's not his abilities but he has been mentally extremely fragile in his time in Houston with an insanely good team around him.

I get the need with the Icky injury but looking at this defense and the salary cap we already have allocated to the OL man it is a tough pill to swallow to sink another first round pick in the offense. Where does it end?

No...I mean our backs that literal saved our season. You forget these last few games wouldn't even mattered if Rico hadn't of went into god mode those couple games earlier in the season. But if you are blaming them for not being able to carry our offense late in the season and excusing the QB and other factors for not picking up the slack...well that's pretty misguided. I guess we gonna find next year who is really gonna pull their weight cuz I think Rico is gone.

Should've just resigned Burns after not accepting the 2 first rounders. He is one of the better "bang for your buck" pass rushers in the league. His contract aged well. Now, we'll keep drafting edge rushers in hopes they produce like Brian Burns when we could've used those picks on other positions.
