  1. Past hour
  2. Can see it happening and wouldn't hate it, just hate Mesidor is old. But, maybe he's more ready to contribute now. I think an OT (Georgia guy or whoever) at 19, then Rodriguez or Hill in Rd 2 is where I'm at.
  3. Best line I've seen in a LONG time!
  4. he catches everything thrown to him....had 17 targets and 14 receptions for 160 yards. XL has the tools to be really good--not sure about inside the helmet though
  5. Im listing the two picks above the Panthers apparently, Dane values Proctor a lot more than some 17. Detroit Lions: Kadyn Proctor, OT/G, Alabama The return of Taylor Decker in 2026 gives the Lions options on draft night, but it doesn’t eliminate offensive line from being the move here. Proctor has the talent to give Detroit immediate depth at both tackle and guard, especially after the release of Graham Glasgow. He’d be a long-term building block. 18. Minnesota Vikings: Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon With Harrison Smith’s future in question, the Vikings will have safety near the top of their wish list this offseason. Thieneman was expected to test well at the combine. Based on the reactions from teams, he surpassed even those high expectations and solidified himself in the mid-first-round range. (NFL scout: “It’s hard to find anything bad with ‘T-man.’”) 19. Carolina Panthers: Akheem Mesidor, edge, Miami General Manager Dan Morgan, a member of the Hurricanes’ Ring of Honor, isn’t going to draft a Miami player because of the connections to his alma mater. But it wouldn’t hurt, especially with the Panthers in the market for a charged-up edge rusher.
  6. Trading up in the 1st is almost ALWAYS a bad idea. If you make moves out of desperation, you generally get fleeced (see 2023).
  7. 1. I don't think we are worried about facing Dalton twice a year. 2. We would trade him to anyone willing 3. Why TF would anyone trade for him. Most Likely: He will be released
  8. This is a pretty good WR room, IMO. I can see us picking up a mid tier vet since this list is so young and drafting a WR on day 3. Your guy Eli Heidenreich piqued my interest, I haven't looked that far down the line yet. As always, we'll churn the bottom of the roster / PS with a few UDFA and other teams' cast offs. I also sincerely hope someone is willing to trade for XL. My heart has been broken (and almost my TV) by him too many times. I've lost all trust in him at this point.
  9. Craziest stat I've seen today and that's saying something. Kon Knueppel is tied with MJ...(Yes that MJ) for most games as a rookie with 20 points and 65% true shooting.
  10. A tweener at LB, DE, maybe OT, maybe WR/TE, something like that. A tweener at RB? It isn’t a one size fits all position. Look at all the different types and styles that have had success.
  11. I was kidding man, it's the internet. Congrats to your boys, and nice work raising two successful humans! Mine's only five, but so far so good.
  12. Takes two teams wanting him that’s it. His contract isn’t a huge impediment. It doesn’t matter That much if we release him or get a 7th or whatever token payment we can extract. Personally I am not scared of him, don’t care where he ends up. The Andy Reich saw was still mostly there, I wonder what he had to say if/when he watched the Buffalo video. What I pasted is interesting to me more in historical terms, it adds some juicy context to the divide that ended up with Frank fired in season. Then comes “maybe someone does want him”.
  13. His stats pasted weird, so just know that its 2025 on top, 2024 in the middle and 2023 on bottom. I keep screaming to the heavens to draft production and this guy produces! Almost 1500 scrimmage yards last year, 1100 before that, and 600 as a freshman! My favorite stat? 0 fumbles! Hell, anything in the 5th round and beyond is just best guess anyway, not much to lose and a hellova lot to win. 14. Today
  15. He has a lot of contacts. It’s going to depend who wants to trade for him for a near nothing pick and I’ll explain why. Trading him keeps him out of the division if he’s released. Here are some people he’s worked with: Sean Payton- Den Brian Callahan-NYG Pete Carmichael-Buffalo Frank Reich-NYJ Josh McCown-Minnesota What we don’t want is him to get released and end up with: Alex Van Pelt- Atlanta (Former QB Coach) Kellen Moore/Doug Nussmeier-NO (Former OC/QB coach) Ken Zampese-TB (Longtime QB coach in Cincinnati) So if we can trade him to somebody outside the division for a 7th rounder that’s a win.
  16. Math hasn’t always been my strong suit. But both my boys are good. My 19 year old is in school to be a diesel tech and my 22 year old is in his 3rd year of medical at Montreat college in Black mountain. One more year there to finish undergrad then 4 more years at USF. Yeah, I’ve done pretty well.
  17. No. Players usually don’t come back from this well. He’s probably done playing tackle. Best case scenario he’s a Guard from here on out.
  18. Jones will leave those fans something to remember him by. Probably years of cap hell, without a ton of draft picks in their pocket.
  19. He will be way to expensive to plug all the holes we need to plug
  20. Yeah, that is my point--we all are just shootin from the hip.
  21. Surprised by the lack of DBs in R2-3. It’s a great class. I like S-W but think we have a bit of a need for a real slot defender — anywhere from a DeJean to Pitre mold that could also be depth outside given all our 6 DB looks.
  22. I fully expect (and certainly hope) that he sh!ts the bed!
  23. They have their mind set on somebody in FA. Or they are good with rolling with Nijman on a cheap deal and a Day 2 guy.
  24. CJ Allen will end up being the most mocked guy to us this mock season. Rodriguez would be perfect in R2.
