I don't think the "good teams don't go for it on 4th down" is ALWAYS accurate. Some of this is newer football philosophical changes. Look at the Lions, for instance. They are always in the top 10 for most 4th down attempts under Dan Campbell. I will say that it does say a lot that the Panthers have been inside the top 10 in 4th down attempts every year except 2018 and 2021 since Tepper has been the owner. All losing seasons......

All year long it reminded me of Washington last year. Constantly going for it (and getting it) on 4th down. It worked...until it didn't this year and Jayden was hurt. Washington got exposed for being a bad team that got lucky this year. That...does not make me feel good going into next year unless we see some changes.

Ive never seen a qb with his kind of arm talent willfully seek out out not just contact, but head first contact. Like baker will seek out DBs to put his shoulder into. Dart dives like a tackling defender in NFL blitz 98. He had good coaches in his college career, and Mike Kafka is not a dumb guy. Surely there have been attempts to get him to stop and he’s always just like “yolo bitch”

All indicators are that the Giants are set to make another bad hire at HC. I think Dart is just generally kind of stupid. You hear him talk and I really get the sense he is not one of these brainy, analytical QB's. Extremely skeptical of him. They probably should have kept him on the bench at least 2-3 years to let him learn the position.

I personally don't believe Tepper has changed that much. The only thing new is his stepping back from the public eyes as much as he can. I guess you could add exhibiting a bit my restraint or should I say patience with this crew. But that will only last so long as a leopard don't change his spots. He will fire everyone if they only win 5 games next season.
