They just won at Lambeau, where they have only won twice in their history before today, as a 2 touchdown underdog. They did this against a 5-1-1 first place team. They are now 5-4, 4-1 in their last 5, with a horrific New Orleans team coming to Charlotte. Their defense held a top 5 offense in the league to 13 points. even with all that, you decided to come onto a panthers message board to say you will not be pulled in and rip Bryce young. Yes, you a miserable human being. It’s been a miserable 8 years. How about taking a moment to enjoy a positive for a hour or two before signing on here and spreading your joy.

A player gets stuffed, they aren't down but they either are able to extend to the goal line or move forward on the pile of humanity. Think about all the plays you have seen where someome is "tackled" in the open field but somehow they land on an opposing player without touching the turf. They can still continue advancing the ball if they are able to get up. Same as the opposing team could strip the ball away because they weren't down yet.

Sam Darnold has the sheer physical talent to win a Super Bowl. He can make any throw at any moment. His talent is that impressive. But the mental aspect and the pressure of the brightest lights like you said is the key hurdle. In that regard he has something in common with Daniel Jones. Both can wow you and both can turn a game into a nightmare. Just have to see what transpires.

Well Baker was clearly a good NFL QB and Darnold was clearly not. It appears that Darnold may have turned the corner, that's not a check I would personally cash. I mean, the fact that Baker immediately played significantly better with the Rams was pretty much a dead giveaway. That didn't take time, that was the same season.

5-4. Coming off a win AT Green Bay...where Bryce was meh at best. The NFL is weird, but something has to give with how many of us think about this team. It can't all be Bryce sucks, Canales can't coach, Evero can't coach, this FO sucks...I'm guilty of some of these opinions as well, but there's *something* here. A team with that many "problems" that we all complain about...wouldn't be 5-4 and coming off a road win against the previous NFC 1 seed. Front office deserves praise. Canales deserves praise. EVERO...deserves praise (even if he drives me insane). And even Bryce....fug it. Let the stats be garbage, all that matters is wins. Get those and throw for your 100 yards, don't care.

They are neck and neck in production per game. He may be an improvement but given how limited his role is its not very impactful. Which is why I said I expected him to have more impact.

The Defense, O line,Dowdle and kicker won the game for us yesterday. Everyone else was a spectator. The way Dowdle is playing, ANY play call would have worked. Play calling wouldn’t have mattered.

He folded under pressure for sure but Rams were also better than people thought. If he can overcome the mental hurdle of choking under pressure he could lead them to a championship.
