  1. Past hour
  2. He was a running back and didn’t know nothin’ about birthin no quarterbacks when he was hired here. As OC. Yeah I didn’t get that but he has been learning apparently. Getting his knowledge together by apprenticing in the different roles and trying to get some depth to his game. I wasn’t really feeling hiring a RB guy for OC when we had just drafted a QB at 1.1. And wasn’t about him being the play caller. But he has kept plugging away. Good luck to him.
  3. If only Bryce or Canales would look to him before its a dire situation
  4. Diminished role and responsibility. Anybody looking at his tenure as an OC/interim head coach and requesting an interview for HC are just satisfying the Rooney rule.
  5. I just pretend he was our 1st rounder in 2024 instead of XL.
  6. And I think that’s fair. Or the way you want it. It is a cumulative endeavor. Miss on one, that is fine if you hit on another. Even if it is in a later round.
  7. I just know Bryce can't do the usual going MIA for most of the game then try and turn it on in the 4th quarter. He's going to have to play good ball the entire game. Going to be a very interesting and exciting game for his/our future I do believe.
  8. Bullshit fake ass job title. If he’s not interviewing for their actual GM job we should be able to block it.
  9. And doing a good job now
  10. That seems like truth, but still. No drops is no drops. Like I said elsewhere call Vegas let’s get a pool for when he will drop a ball.
  11. The fact that he even has a job after what he did both here and in Chicago with Caleb Williams.
  12. He will play. He could've played last week but they wanted to make sure he would be ready come play off time.
  13. I think people are missing the context of what was behind the first two picks of 2024. Have argued it a fair amount and and been accused of pretzel logic/mental gymnastics to defend Morgan. I don’t see it that way and if another person were in Morgan’s place and did it I would think the same thing. Not gonna re argue it here, but I am in agreement with you on the improvement and growth sentiment.
  14. I don't like this. This troubles me.
  15. Helluva coach. Now Lamar almost has to take them to the super bowl in the next couple of seasons.
  16. I like Eager where he is. I like Tillis where he is. Don’t want to change it. At this point in time.
  17. I mean, and I've said it recently, 2024 was Dan's first draft. It was also stunted by the residual effects of the Bryce trade. I think it's kind of cynical to say that the earlier draft was akin to a counterbalance of the later draft. I mean, you have every right to look at it that way, but it would seem to me that you'd put a premium on the improvement from year one to year two. That is certainly evidence of moving in the right direction, even if one considers it modest, or maybe even nominal, improvement (not that I necessarily view it that way). That being said, I don't think it's coincidental that the better draft was with Brandt Tillis. But, Dan hired Brandt Tillis. It's not a stretch to think that he can hire someone else with a similar analytical/PFF background.
  18. I probably don’t know what the bad is. Wharton? I think he was influential in that decision. Not my favorite. But they aren’t perfect and they are not gonna be perfect.
  19. That’s why I’m not worried. Eric Eager would likely just move into that role.
  20. I like him and prefer he stays. I find the way people credit him for things they like but not blaming him for the bad to be amusing.
  21. We got him from KC. One of the gold standard orgs. I like him and don’t want to lose him. Especially inside the division. PS I am not a Morgan basher. I am one that does not blame him for drafting Young. I hope he rewards me with a new QB soon or I might change up.
  22. Why the dramatic tantrum over the like 4th RG option?
  23. I like how every positive is attributed to Tilis and every negative to Morgan. Remember it was Tilis celebrating the Brooks pick. There are countless PFF dorks for hire.
  24. Tillis is massively important to this organization. The good news is Atlanta is expected to offer the newly created position to old QB Matt Ryan
  25. fug him, no true Panther fan would have anything to do with Atlanta I
