7 games into a season where McCaffrey hasn't played extremely well and you take a gander at the stat sheets and he has 981 yards from scrimmage and 6td. They just don't have anyone else to get the ball too. Dudes gonna end up with 400 touches by necessity if he can stay healthy.

The Jets are in similar situation with the Panthers. They have some talented players on both sides of the ball but they don't have a QB that can lead a strong passing game. In most weeks they enter an game outmatched at the leagues most important position and that's not a recipe for success in the NFL.

Yeah, on the radio the other day they were talking about QB1 contract numbers. You have rookie contracts, FA contracts and second contracts for QB1. While certain FA QB contracts can be pricey, most aren't that steep overall. You have a QB1 going for his second deal, you had back up the Brinks truck. They went through examples and it didn't matter elite or not, those second contracts for a QB1 are eye-popping and cap bloating. They mentioned those QBs that got paid on those second deals had better be the type that can elevate a team because the cap, as a result, is too tight to put talent everywhere else on the roster.

No. It was on the road. They went toe to toe with Denver, Pittsburgh and Tampa who are all leading their divisions. Jets have a decent defense that plays well and keeps them in games for the most part.

This dude is a fuging hack btw
-
Thier defense is worse i cant remember a QB playing against the opposing offense

Zavala will be put in at LG and beat his personal best of 14 QB pressures given up vs Seattle. In all seriousness though, Dalton is good for 1, maybe 2 games. We're 4-3 with a chance to make a playoff push. If Bryce is as good as many believe he is, now he's out and injured. If it's a significant injury and he misses an extended period of time, Dalton has already shown he isnt up to the task. Just bad off season planning re-signing a guy that wasnt able to do it for you last year.

I see you didn't accept my challenge. Let's just limit this discussion to the NFC. Given me a team in NFC East (Dallas, Washington. Philadelphia, or NY) that would take Bryce over their current starter. How about the NFC North (Green Bay, Minnesota, Detroit, or Chicago) How about the NFC West (LA, SF, Seattle, Arizona) In the NFC South he'd never beat out Mayfield or Pennix. Outside of New Orleans, what team in the NFC has a current starting QB that Bryce would beat out in a fair competition?

I think that puts us in second in the division.

I’m not worried about their offense. I fully believe our defense is legit. I haven’t researched it, but from watching them, it seems like their defense is not too hot this year… whether our offense can score or not will determine if we can win or not. I think Bryce being out increases our chances of scoring.

Yes they are but Buffalo can't stop the run, they give up 5.8ypc, they are 31st in yards before contact. They are literally the worst run Defense outside of Miami that we will face this season. They also rely on the run game on offense and run the ball 30+ times a game. Their weakness is the Panthers strength and their strength plays into the Panthers strengths on defense. They also got beat by Falcons and Patriots the last two weeks. It's at home. It's a very winnable game. Green Bay at Lambeau is a different story since it's up there against a pretty good GB team, but even it doesn't look as difficult as it did back in August.

Any team can have a bad day. That same bills team just lost by 10 points to a team we shutout and beat by 30. Does that mean anything? No it doesnt, but just saying.
-
Also, hard to believe Atlanta has won 3 games. If they want to win, Penix has to sit. But I’m thrilled if they want to keep playing him.
-
Yup, the Bills offense is a tad better than the Jets....just a smidge. Dalton will be the scapegoat for having our winning streak snapped.
