Yeah I won't discount Lemon or Boston if they're available. I just think Cooper fits super well. Totally possible they like one of the others just as much. My wishlist is something like this: 1. Thieneman S/Sl 2. McNeil-Warren S/Sl 3. Kayden McDonald DL 4. Omar Cooper Jr. WR 5. CJ Allen/J Rod LB *Love Freeling & Lomu but have a hard time not hearing about our FO wanting more immediate impact picks. And then I have my post-19 guys that I really like such as Haulcy, Golday, Stukes, Kilgore & Abney

As exciting as drafting Sadiq or Concepcion would be, the most logical and sensible pick is Dillon Thieneman

He hasn't visited

People have been basically penning in Thieneman to Minny but I have seen some interesting stuff about McDonald and them.

I would not be mad, I could see maybe targeting a guy like branch or bell in the second to also fill that role. I still wouldn’t sleep on the taller guys either, I think some maybe better overall then the shifter guys

Between that and Kon/Melo shooting like crap from 3 it could have been a blowout.

We gave up the middle of the field like no one’s business last year. Lloyd will help limit that but thieneman could help eliminate at lot of down field and big chunk over the middle plays we’ve given up. This is the first draft in a loonnnnnggggggg time I’ve felt this excited about who we’re getting in the first.

After rewatching that game, it's amazing how many times we were clearly fouled and it wasn't called. Absurd how one sided they were

I'd love it. Been begging for a legit FS forever. Lots of talk about Downs being the best true FS prospect in years... and lots of talk about the gap between Downs and Thieneman not being nearly as wide as most would've assumed.

I'm far from an expert, but nothing seems natural when XL runs routes. It looks awkward and forced. Strongly doubt he plays for any team after this year.

Yeah, I said it in the other thread last night: if we want Thieneman, we'd likely have to jump Minny to get him. Mel Kiper mocked McNeil-Warren to us, so there's that.

Important notes about Stukes flying up boards in there as well. He could be a 1st when all is said and done. We met with the guy, maybe teams like Stukes over McNeil-Warren too.

I just have the itch its Cooper. He has a very complimentary fit with McMillan and Coker. Cooper WR + Haulcy S/Slot and maybe a trade-up for Golday ILB would be an interesting haul.
