I'm in Charlotte, about 10 minutes from uptown. Queens will need 17+ 3s tonight. They had the head coach on wfnz last week. It very much seems like they are going to let it fly. I'm assuming around 40 attempts and if they are on we got a chance.

Our bar for QB is so low it's laying on the ground and everyone is tip toeing around it afraid to actually do anything to raise the standards even a little fugging bit.

Yes, I would be fine carrying 3 RB and a pass catching FB but like you said that would essentially just take a TE spot. AJ Dillion is most definitely not a Rico replacement like the other poster insinuated. Either the staff feels Brooks injury isn't where it should be, aren't high on Etienne, or AJ does not make the team.

No. There are 32 head coaching jobs in the NFL. It's maybe the most premium position in all of sports, other than starting QB in the NFL. The idea "noone wanted the job" is laughable, and if true, says way more about how far behind this franchise is. I believe players dont want to come here because of who we are and the city, which is why we just overpaid Phillips. But coaches / grownups don't care about that stuff. This team made a massive mistake hiring Canales, and until they fix it, we will be 8-9 at best.

He was hired because there was no one that wanted the job. Tepper and Bryce Young in early 2024 after that 2023 season? People they wanted to hire were ducking out of the way. It was openly discussed that maybe we would need to hire one that wasn’t ready and let him grow into the job. And that is what they did.

I don't think anyone on this board is saying that. But when he was hired, it was made very clear that he was brought in because of his offensive prowess. He's a fuging moron, and should've never been a head coach, but this is why the Panthers hired him. We always hire guys that should never be a head coach.
