Change.org petition asking ESPN to fire David Newton
AceBoogie replied to Luciu5's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young has the accolades deserving of being a starting QB in the NFL. That much can’t be disputed. We as a team made a commitment to him as a young player, and to be honest we’ve done a shitty job around him. So yea I’m inclined to allow him to play out the contract he signed. Player option coming up. That’s the conversation. But benching him today doesn’t make you a better football team tomorrow. Some of you need to accept that. -
He made a bad mistake and apologized for it. Don't worry within a few weeks he will give us fans more rage bait and the cycle will continue...

Oregon is getting a lot of ref help today. I mean a LOT.
-
All that is true I suppose, but t his is a bad as I ever want to see it. We for sure would have been better off with Darnold and keeping all of our picks.
-
Horns down, so far so good.
-
I was a Skatt fan and bump the draft thread was before the 4th and I was pleading for him.
-
IU defenders starting to drop like flies.
-
Cignetti is a helluva football coach. The guy's teams always play well above their level of talent.
-
He's basically a slower version of Beast Mode. Lynch without the breakaway speed.
-
Playing Army, Navy or Air Force in the middle of the season is the kiss of death for any school that doesn't have the natural talent to overcome the option scheme. One week of practice isn't enough to prepare for stopping their offense for a roster like Charlotte's. There's a reason those military schools win 8+ games (almost) every year while having minimal football talent on their rosters.
-
It’s different, and luckily not as bad as that hypothetical would have been. cam newton was immediately the exact opposite of everything Bryce has been. Caleb hasn’t touched that. it doesn’t matter. I think if we’d had rolled it back with darnold and co they’re not drafting anywhere near the top three qbs.
-
As demonstrated by the value teams place in those picks, right? There are busts drafted every year and there are steals to be found later but by and large the higher you're drafting the better your odds are of finding good talent, hence why those picks are so valued.
-
Yes, But at least with Clausen he was one and done, and the Panthers did not spend valuable resources around him to pretend like he was the answer. Panthers only spent a high 2nd on him, and missed. Since the BY trade-up, the Panthers have made bad decision after another. Almost as if to justify their bad trade-up decision.
-
Why does Charlotte absolutely suck regardless of who the coach is, guy had Ohio competing for conference titles every year. Charlotte gets blown out by a team that went 2/6 passing. You would think they could recruit better talent than Army

Oklahoma defense is nasty

Skataboo isn’t long for the nfl. Hes kinda like Marion barber who really only had a 3 year stretch as a main running back, and then just started falling apart. Hes also dead.
- Today

Henry is also a freak of nature and what 6-3 250 4.5 speed. Think maybe would have to go back to Eddie George for someone who ran and looked similar. Skatebo is what 5-11 215?
-
Are you talking about Johnathon brooks? different drafts.
-
I am dying laughing at the Missouri kicker on the sideline that dude wanted NOTHING to do with a potential game tying kick. Looked horrified.
-
I only watch Panthers ball, so I don't know. Hard to believe that since Brooks went first off the board at the and Cam was still sitting there in the fourth round.
