  1. Past hour
  2. Won't be able to watch until late this evening, driving back from a Canes game this afternoon
  3. It's so obvious at this point you gotta believe ppl just trolling in support
  4. For what it's worth, Young had 3 INT's his first 2 games (1.5/game) but has only had 3 in his last 7 (.42/game). Last season, Young had 3 in his first 2 ( 1.5/game) and then only 7 in the last 11 (.63/game). Basically what I am trying to say is his numbers are skewed with his early struggles. And for whatever it is worth, he also struggles early in the games: 5 of his INTs have come in the first half of games, only 1 has occured in the second half.
  5. Time to do to them what we did to the Falcons. Take care of your division and the rest just writes itself.
  6. Fried Shrimp Po' Boys are today's feasting on the foes item. Bugles on the side. What are y'all serving?
  7. I just keep looking at the D-line a lot like I look at the rest of the team: We're an unfinished product. I think we shored up the center of the line first and spent wisely on the edges in the draft this season. Wonnum hasn't been very noteworthy but Scourton has been very good against the run, which we desperately needed. Princely, well, I just don't have a big enough sample size to say anything but that he and Scourton are playing like rookies. Next season... I can just see us continuing the strengthen across the board. Maybe there is a plan in place and it is beginning to work.
  8. Scourton could be a guy. He is not terribly impactful yet so it's possible he never ascends to being an elite guy but maybe ends up a rotational player. Which, as a 2nd rounder isn't a terrible return IF that was his ceiling. Currently, we have a roster of depth pieces but not real starting caliber EDGE guys, in my eyes. Complimentary players. So, obviously, we need more help at that position. Which, most positions on our roster we need more help at. I am not sure I would put that ahead of QB, especially considering we have a bottom quarter NFL QB at the moment. I don't think that is terribly relevant, however. The draft should be BPA. Zero reason to start reaching to solve these sort of problems. Same with free agency. Don't wildly overspend to fix problems out of panic and mortgage the future in the process.
  9. I having trouble understanding when he got his ext. Was it after the 3rd or frth year? They picked up the 5th and then gave him the ext? 2 sites are saying 2 different things?
  10. Panthers 17, Saints 13 Relatively boring, mistake filled game.
  11. Today
  12. Every time I think about Bryce's option, Murray is the dude that pops into my mind too (also Daniel Jones). If Tepper doesn't want mediocrity, then why sign a QB whose ceiling is mediocre? Heck a strong rushing attack and elite defense with weak QB play only got the Bears a single title in the mid 80's where our defense is no '85 Bears and Dowdle ain't Walter Peyton. Our recipe for success right now will win some games, but it's not a long term playoff winning scheme. Why? There will be games where our QB is asked to put the game on his shoulders and Bryce isn't that dude.
  13. Back at it again to make it 4 in a row
  14. No one gets it with Aho. going Stank tonight
  15. We need a premium guy to pair with Scourton as he develops. Princely is a nice rotational pass rusher. I coukd see us drafting an edge in the first if the value is right. Add a LB to play with Wallace and our defense will be close. Maybe another safety and CB2 upgrade?
  16. Kyler murray signed a 5 year 230 million dollar deal after his 4rth season (2022) where he made the playoffs once in those 4 years and played abysmal His average, including injuries for those 4 years are below: 66% 21tds 3500yards 92qbr Fast forward to Nov 2025 https://www.si.com/nfl/kyler-murray-cardinals-parting-ways-likely-imminent?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us Hes owed roughly 50 and 40 million against the cap for the next 2 years. fuging nuts, you are essentially tying your hands behind your back and trying to compete I could do Tua as well but you guys get the point. In closing, please for the love of God Teppers please dont put this franchise in a blender by extending Bryce.
  17. Sure we could use an edge rusher or two but the rookies are doing well for rookies. Saying edge rusher is as much of a need as QB is preposterous. We could need to bring back Everette Brown as a starting rusher and it still wouldn’t be as big a need as QB.
  18. The way I look at it: pie: good point, I agree, general positive reaction beer: cheers. Can be regarding a positive thing or negative. “Here’s to another year being held back by our QB play.” “Cheers” fire: a hot take I agree with, or a great point. Upgrade from pie. eggplant: that gets me hard. Not you want to give that poster the D, but like if you’re someone who really appreciates good defense and someone posts a stat that our defense is top ten then you post the eggplant emoji
  19. Cats shouldn't play with their food...Panthers 35 Saints 10
  20. like a slice of humble pie or pie in the face...not really sure just thoughts
