  2. Glad you said this because this is where I am--question--would you call McDonald a 1 or 3? I think he could play the DE and we could use Wharton as a change of pace and passing down guy--but I don't know enough about it in relation to Evero's scheme--what say you?
  3. I wonder how many trades Dan has "won" since becoming gm. This one is a win in my book. Getting a 7th and cap relief for 3rd stringer we never want to see start Andy Dalton? Yes please
  4. CB seems to growing as a need--maybe I am just realizing it. I would be happy with an Edge or OT --but that is just me, I assume.
  5. DT seems like a big need to me. Hope we take Kayden McDonald.
  6. Now that was some top play there! Hall!
  7. Seems a bit undersized as well. I believe he was basically calling the defensive plays on the field. He is very knowledgeable, but I wouldn’t want him at 19 personally.
  8. Defense without a doubt. If one of the top S is available, they need to pull the trigger. Same thing if one of the LB fall.
  9. I don't think we carry 4 rbs just for short yardage. Just have Tremble do it
  10. It will be interesting this year without Canales calling the plays.
  11. Exactly. I heard that philosophy attributed to Reid back when he was still in Philadelphia. Nobody ever says ...."wow this team has a strong TE group they can compete with anyone" You win starting in the trenches. Everton team is always needing a lineman so if you are gifted with more than you need you have trade capital.
  12. We've seen Bryce Young personally audible into some truly terrible plays even as recent as last year so this notion that he is significantly better at reading defenses doesn't exist within the realm of reality from my POV. He has not had a great deal of freedom within the structure of the offense for good reason. I would say he is average in football IQ. He isn't awful. But in no way shape or form was he or is he generational or top pick worthy in that aspect as he was billed predraft. Overall he is at best in the 22-25 range amongst all starting QB's and that is being generous.

  14. I am not arguing over statistics. Darnold was in the pro bowl Bryce wasn't. I'm not sure we watching the same games because when I watch them actually play Bryce decision making is usually pretty good to me. Even when he throws an int it's not a OMG wtf were you thinking pick. Darnold has those moments. And like I said we have seen Darnold here. If you plug him back in who is to say he doesn't look like Bryce or worse. Bryce limitations are tied to his physical ability to me. I think he sees it reads defense well but lacks the cannon to stretch the field or capitalize on what he sees. Add in a small frame and vision and he's limited... That doesn't take away from the fact I think I trust him more than Darnold reading defenses. Darnolds physical gifts have never been in question. He was the most talented QB of his class in terms of arm and ability.
  15. I do not remember anyone saying he was a potential pro bowler, I do remember saying I preferred him over Andy for the same money.
  16. Our short yardage game was infuriating so anything they do to help improve that is welcomed
  17. Do people even know what camp body means?
  18. Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young and Sam had 477 pass attempts to Bryce's 478. Read that back to yourself a couple of times and then wave the white flag brother.
