  1. Past hour
  2. Yea, if the first the team looks like hot ass the first two weeks again it's not going to be a happy time. It'll be especially frustrating if the team starts slow but finishes strong but at the same time that's probably what will happen with the new defense + young weapons getting acclimated... I expect that to take until halfway through the season, and I don't believe that extra preseason snaps would help that much to speeding up the timeline. Even if it meant they gelled a game or two sooner, there's the added risk of injury on a team that's still trying to build depth after years of bad decisions. Now if they start slow and have the same approach in 2026 with a more complete team I'm going to have some not so nice questions (and opinions) for/about the staff.
  3. Everything about AR's demeanor in the NFL screams that they should've identified serious mental make up red flags during the pre-draft process. I mean, if you're going to roll the dice on a project type player you have to at least be convinced that the guy is coachable and he's going to commit himself to improving his craft. There just haven't been any signs of that from AR.
  4. I would be very surprised to see Moore bumped if we keep 7 WR's. Tremayne is easily stashed on the PS with no threat of anyone signing him off it.
  5. Keep in mind. Steichen was supposed to be one of those QB whisperer types too. It's gonna taken some luster off of him on the way unemployment after the season.
  6. I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
  7. That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
  8. A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings. Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen P: Sam Martin K: Matthew Wright Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
  9. He was a more accurate passer at 56.2%. That's what I mean. Even by outlier standards, this dude was inaccurate. Closest I can recall to something like that would have been one of those GT QB's like Reggie Ball. Career 48.6% passer.
  10. I will say, within the first few weeks. If we come out of the first five games with 0-2 wins, that is a huge problem given the projected schedule.
  11. Stats aside, I know it's hard to believe, but just pure eye ball test Anthony Richardson at Florida looked like Drew Brees compared to Josh Allen at Wyoming. Like I said, it's honestly impossible to talk about Allen's inaccuracy at Wyoming without sounding like you're talking in massive hyperbole. Bruh couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. LOL
  12. If we're still flailing and need a QB when Arch Manning comes out in the draft, well... Because Tepper is all about hype trains and to get a hype train with the last name "Manning"? Bruh is gonna be like, "I want that guy and I'm willing to trade... The absolute cherry on top of that dog poo sundae would us be swinging the trade and then the Mannings to be like "Yeah, remember Eli to the Chargers? Same thing." LOL
  13. I mean, realistically the difference between most of our 2nd stringers and our PS guys is largely razor thin. Hence why maybe they are paying more attention to that.
  14. No, he had nothing close to that profile even remotely. He was one of the most inaccurate passers I have ever seen as a "top prospect." That literally directly translated. Hurts was a 65+% career passer. Jackson was closer at 57% versus the 54.7% but the difference to the eye was REALLY obvious in the passing game. You can check the record, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with drafting AR. Richardson currently has worse stats than Jamarcus Russell through the equivalent amount of games. Think about that.
  15. You said you were talking about how fans and media perceive the preseason so that's what I was talking about but now you're saying that you're talking about how it's viewed from within the organization? I mean, okay. But you could've just started there and then there would've been no misinterpretation.
  16. Again, I am not talking about the coaching strategy for preseason. I am talking about the way media and fans portray or view preseason results. You quoted my post bruv and you have now twice misinterpreted what I meant. I get it, you are disappointed after last week's showing. But know this, Dave Canales and Dan Morgan are not concerned with your glimmer of hope. Also, I heard and viewed them looking really good in the joint practice. I am disappointed that it didn't translate to Saturday, but I will never truly freak out about this team until they look bad into week 3 or 4 of the regular season.
  17. you know who has had a pretty awesome preseason has been ex panthers qb kyle allen, would be total panthers for the lions to end up having to play him due to injury and him lighting it up for them all year.
  18. I like Ekbugka probably will be eventually, dont know about this year with the Bucs new Offensive Cordinator Grizzard lol (he was a year behind me in high school) needless to say I seriously question them calling him an offensive wizard lol.
  19. I'm fine with "not showing our hand" in preseason as long as we don't come out looking flat week one. If that happens again then Canales needs to be on the hottest of seats.
  20. Yeah his transformation makes me understand the gamble, but just not with a top 10 pick. On a side note I am curious about how far along Trey Lance has come as a passer. He had some great physical tools and has sat for years now.
  21. Yep. Honestly, Josh Allen is the most obvious bust I've ever seen in college. The strides he made as a passer I would've previously said was impossible. It's difficult to describe how wildly inaccurate Allen was in college without coming across as hyperbole. He had never completed 60% of his passes before the NFL. Not at Wyoming, not in junior college at Reedley, not even in HS. This was Josh Allen in college against decent competition Just listen to that exasperated "wow..." from the announcer. Bruh is a professional college football commentator and can barely comprehend the level of trash he's watching. LOL For that guy to turn into a legit MVP NFL QB absolutely boggles the mind.
  22. Why? He’s done literally nothing. He may be the most overrated JAG in recent memory. I don’t get the love affair for this guy.
