Oh I wouldn't want to derail this fine thread with talk of culinary exploits.. But if you must know I am a man who has thoroughly enjoyed my fried chicken over the years. Now I keep it simple with high quality boneless skinless chicken breast seasoned to perfection with some legit Carolina BBQ sauce.

Love fried fish too. I grew up on the river here in Eastern NC and my grandfather fished as part of his income We always had fried flounder, fried soft crabs and all kinds of local seafood

Thanks. The 24' CR-V is my least favorite but Honda's reliability make it a contender, but it sure is ugly! I understand the 25' CR-V is getting a better body and so that could change my perspective. The Hyumdai Tucson is intriguing to me but will it be as mechanically reliable as the Toyota Rav-4? If I HAD to pick TODAY I'd probably play it safe and pick the Rav-4, although I will take a hard look at the driver's available space, thanks to your warning, which I much appreciate!

CR-V is plasticy. Rav-4 might be smaller than you'd like Tuscon is the only one with Leather and other higher-end features, IIRC I'd go with either Toyota or Hyundai --- Toyota's been in the hybrid game longer
