  1. Past hour
  2. Time stamped the Bryce critic on this vid as well. Same glaring issues with the unique drop back, tippy toes, etc that come from his size that most didn't think would affect his game as much as it actually did
  3. Let's be real, it will only be useful when rushing the football into a pile to get the spot, otherwise the refs can do what they like.
  4. He is bigger than our starting QB. I don't think we can ever tell another guy he is too small for a position and keep a straight face.
  5. Kids have been paid directly by the schools for years, this just puts the money in the publics eyes.
  6. Today
  7. Weak arm! You Lint Licker! Queue the Jameson Williams deep TD from Bryce young from 2 years ago in 5....4....3...2.....1......
  8. Exactly. I'd never argue our offensive pieces were good but I don't think they were nearly as atrocious as people make them out to be to make excuses for Bryce. What I saw was basically a bad NFL offense with a bad NFL OL and bad NFL WRs with a QB at the helm that looked like he lacked the prerequisite NFL talent. The end result was one of the worst overall offenses in modern NFL history.
  9. You are only as good as your QB and right now teams have backups better than our #1 pick franchise QB. He can behave at dinner like no other though!
  10. That's where visual confirmation would still be required , but that's less subjective(most of the time)
  11. Since you want excuses anyway.....The other guys knew Bryce was never going to make it past 5"10' and they didnt give a damn they continued to grow , bunch of inconsiderate jerks! How do they think the super processor is supposed to work when he cant see over them!
  12. All the talk in the off-season was how much better we were going to be. That only changed when we sucked then suddenly the overall offense actually looked quite a bit better that one game that the mere mention of horribly triggers some people.
  13. Thats what Tepper thought because he knows how to conduct himself over dinner. What a guy!
  14. It was sarcasm Bruh, learn to read the room lol.
  15. He was apparently supposed to be able to overcome being behind the 8 ball front he start.
  16. None of that matters when your QB can't throw it more than 5 yards down the field What excuses will you use this season ?
  17. I doubt it ends there, suppose we draft another bust while Stroud goes on to have a great career. The only way it ends is with us finding a franchise QB or Stroud morphing into Vince Young post rookie season.
  18. You are forgetting the part where Bryce was thrown into the worst situation of all time with the worst OL of all time and WRs that shouldnt be allowed on a practice field.
  19. The 2023 Draft is going to be the center of discussion has long has the product of that trade is still our #1 QB It's going to be hanging over us till we cut or trade him
  20. If you're not playing you can't be considered bad. Aaron Rodgers didn't play either. I'm just saying I watch a LOT of NFL football and I can't recall anyone not named Jimmy Clausen who looked worse and I'm not just talking stats. I'm talking about judging talent. A guy can put up ugly stats and still show flashes of the prerequisite talent. That's what was disturbing about Clausen and Bryce. They just flat out didn't look like they had NFL QB talent.
  21. I'd argue that not being able to beat out an incumbent starter despite being drafted in the first round could also be quantified as a "bad" rookie season. Still, 12 of those guys played more than 10 games as a rookie. Again, Im not saying hes a world beater here, in fact I'd wager he's more likely than not to be another name on this long list of 1st round busts, but I also don't think he's even close to being the worst rookie QB since 2000. Brandon Weeden - 15 games Josh Rosen 14 games Paxton Lynch - 5 games Kenny Pickett - 13 games Trey Lance - 6 games, starts David Carr- 16 games Joey Harrington - 14 games Patrick Ramsey - 9 games Kyle Boler - 11 games JP Losman - 4 games, no starts Matt Leinart - 12 games JaMarcus Russell - 4 games, 1 start Brady Quinn - 1 game, no starts Josh Freemen - 10 games EJ Manuel - 10 games Jake Locker- 5 games, no starts Johnny Manziel - 5 games, 2 starts Sam Darnold - 13 games Dwayne Haskins - 9 games Zac Wilson - 13 games Mac Jones - 17 games (probably shouldn't be on here, actually had a solid rookie year)
  22. A lot of those guys barely played as rookies.
  23. Brandon Weeden Josh Rosen Paxton Lynch Kenny Pickett Trey Lance David Carr Joey Harrington Patrick Ramsey Kyle Boler JP Losman Matt Leinart JaMarcus Russell Brady Quinn Josh Freemen EJ Manuel Jake Locker Johnny Manziel Sam Darnold Dwayne Haskins Zac Wilson Mac Jones Theres 20. That's just the first rounders. Open that up to the 2nd,3rd and 4th rounds the list gets tremendously larger. Hopefully Bryce turns it around in a big way this year but I'm not expecting much. I'd imagine he ends up going down as another name on this list. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
  24. I liked the "He can scramble though!" lol.
