We have the most experienced coaching staff in the league. His favorite player is Cam. We were destined for dude at #9 but taking your time with him is a hard sell when there's options that would play at a high level immediately. I don't see it happening but man, would he be exciting. He's the most athletic QB the league has seen and it would mean our staff's confidence is through the roof.

It would have to be really in depth because there's a ton of variables at play. Some positions are getting hit more than others. A slot recievers getting banged up more than someone on the outside, linemen may well have increased risk at the heavier they are, do you count non-contact injuries, etc

Lock him in before he eats in the 3-4 and this gets ugly. He's a long term piece and we have spending change. If you think he has leverage now wait until he has a career season in a contract year and his elite status is no longer debateable.

I’ve always felt like defenses are more careful hitting certain QBs actually and put some extra mustard on the hits when it’s a big dude like Cam or Roethlisberger.
