I agree, everyone is eating up the Mac Jones rumors. From the time they started I was convinced SF was spreading them to confuse the NYJ into taking Mac and giving SF the their choice of Wilson, Fields or Lance.

I think instead if running a 40, players should play Edward 40 hands and time how quickly they finish.

Question is who teams value as their bpa and needs. I think it's a domino effect, SF wants Wilson gets Fields. Atl wants Fields get Pitts because he's their bpa and the cost is too high for teams to trade up. Cin wants either Sewell, Pitts or Chase and try to trade with Miami and when they call the bluff Cin takes Chase. I think Miami really values a weapon over OT just because they took Austin Jackson last year, without Pitts or Chase they want to trade back to get the 2nd tier of either Waddle or Smith. Den can finally trade up without selling the farm and grab either Lance or Fields. Detroit has a history of working with Belichick and without Lance or Fields on the board they'd rather get extra trade capital. NE think Carolina is Jones's floor and with the next set of QB's being Mond, Trask or Mills they trade up. I don't think the'll put all their eggs in the basket for Cam. Carolina gets Sewell or Slater.

Thing is who have you heard talked up vs. who has been dogged the last couple of months? I feel like SF wants Wilson. Some team in the top 8 has been pushing the narrative that Jones is maybe the most pro ready, cerebral QB outside of Lawrence. SF wants to make the Jets overthink and take Jones. On the flip side idk if Jones is the #3 QB on SF board, they just think the Jets value that style of QB over a Lance or Fields. Not much has been said about Lance outside of his lack of experience in Division 1, I personally think the #3 is between him and Fields if Wilson doesn't fall. Fields on the other hand went from consensus #2 to (falling out of the top 10)? All because he's been put through the wringer. It stinks of teams trying to get him to fall, maybe Carolina or Detroit but likely Denver, New England, Washington or Chicago. I personally think if either Jones or Fields are available at #8 Carolina will draft them, even though I would be annoyed, that's why Denver or NE will trade up. I could also see the Chargers jumping us at #7 if Sewell falls.

Imagine him getting hit open field, full steam by a coked up prime Lawrence Taylor.

I'm starting to think 2 scenarios are possible, either the Broncos trade up to #4 to grab the 4th QB or either the Patriots, WFT or Bears trade up with us to jump the Broncos. It would take a lot for me to want to move down though.
