  1. Hell I'd rather have Slye back. At least he can nail the deep shots. I don't see Santoso is the answer.
  2. The were flying around but seemed to have gotten a bit tired in the 2nd half. Gotta build on that conditioning. Was happy to see Nixon get in the stat book as a rookie.
  3. He tough, I will give him that much. We gave him hell the first half and he kept fighting. Give him a chance to get some experience he'll be all that was advertise. NYJ needs to sell the farm to get him a solid O-line. He gets planted much more like Brown did late in the 4th quarter he won't survive in the NFL long.
  4. If the play isn't there you don't just show off your big arm for an incompletion. The object is to move the ball down the field and score a Touchdown. You give CMC open field anything can happen, and it will. He made some good throws deep and they just weren't caught. I thought Marshall had 1st game jitters. Seemed he couldn't catch a cold today. Some of the passes Darnold made to him were good and should have been caught.
  5. The difference is Darnold can make those throws. I don't see the obsession with checking down to CMC. He's our most dangerous weapon and if teams are going to leave him open than you take advantage of it. My issue is NYJ did a good job of taking him out of the second half and NO ONE ELSE except DJ stepped up.
  6. Either Green Bay is overrated or New Orleans defense is impressive.
  7. No lucky win. Wins are hard to come by in the NFL. We'll take this first one.
  8. Brady needs to adjust. It was obvious that Salah made some defensive changes at halftime and Brady didn't seem to adjust. His best play was the misdirection with DJ Moore which is something I think they should have done more of. Get that defense second guessing again. They obviously were targeting CMC. We have other weapons and Brady IMO didn't use them enough.
  9. Overall I think he was impressive. I think in the 2nd half he missed a couple of throws that may have put some pressure on him but after NYJ go their first score Darnold marched the Panthers down to scoring postion and got us up by 2 scores again. Gotta get that O-line in shape though. He was a warrior standing in the pocket and making throws at the last moment. I was overhall happy with his preformance.
  10. You know this is accurate. It will be "I told you so" good or bad.
  11. We'll have our starting point. Whether good or bad. I think we'll start with a lot of positives.
  12. That was sweet. That is how i feel. I cannot wait for tomorrow
  13. I've done everything and i keep getting the same outcome. 46538 KeepPounding give me the same results. Damn
  14. It's not letting me in. The password is incorrect. Please make sure that it matches the password that you got from the commissioner. The commissioner may also have changed the password since they last sent it to you. (Error #109) Back to Previous Page
  15. Sure, some were starters and 75% is damn good and you can only play against whoever they put out there. 19-25-162-1-0 is good and the TD pass to Anderson was pin point. QBR 119.1. What more could you ask for other than 100% completion rate which is nearly impossible in 25 attempts. I don't agree they were playing players that wouldn't make the team. Some were starters and the others were backups.
  16. Marshall may turn out to be one of the best receivers in this class. Clearly a first round talent.
  17. Taking what the defense gives you is EXACTLY what a QB should do. The difference is TB went underneath regardless of whether someone deep was open. Why? Because he couldn't make that throw. Darnold does not have that issue. Let me ask you this. Check down to CMC for a sure gain or throw deep into questionable coverage? I see where either way Darnold is wrong with you. I think your POINT, not the article is, his past performance doesn't inspire confidence. GOT IT but based off the article the numbers don't match the comment.
  18. Pretty much inline with the OP with the exception of WFT and NYG. BOLD is my pick Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons Pittsburgh Steelers @ Buffalo Bills Minnesota Vikings @ Cincinnati Bengals San Francisco 49ers @ Detroit Lions Arizona Cardinals @ Tennessee Titans Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts Los Angeles Chargers @ Washington Football Team New York Jets @ Carolina Panthers Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs Miami Dolphins @ New England Green Bay Packers @ New Orleans Saints Denver Broncos @ New York Giants Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams W Baltimore Ravens @ Las Vegas Raiders
  19. The article said "but Darnold's preseason play didn't inspire confidence." The comment implies that he had a poor preseason. It has nothing to do with his history.
