Ace 2013 51 Receptions for 484 2014 6 Receptions for 55 Colbert 2004 49 Receptions for 754 2005 25 Receptions for 282 2006 5 Receptions for 55. Ace's decline was a year faster than Colbert. Now we are going to argue he is a better punt returner than Ginn? He is a waste of a space. The WRs we have on our roster have a better chance to make this team than a scrub from USC. STFU and come back with something intelligent next time.. That is if you got something intelligent to say.

You mean like Kerry Colbert? He had 49 receptions his rookie year and then disappear just like this guy.

Micnificent28 gotta ask. Why are you so hell bent on this borderline NFL WR being a Panther? I seriously doubt that a WR dumped off Jacksonville's 90 man roster is going to be that piece missing to win the Super Bowl. Honestly, Not better than KB or the Rook Funchess, not better than Ginn or Brown. Hill probably has more upside. Bersin has more size period. At a buck 75 I doubt he is going to lay anyone out on special teams. Love the ole College spirit but some guys careers end after College he should be happy he got a couple years in the NFL. We don't need him, obviously outside of you and one or two others no one really wants him. For me, I am happy with the group we are going to camp with. We have some bigger names than Ace Sanders that aren't going to make this team. Let it go.

Well that was fun. Kind of saw that coming about page 4 or 5.

What this does for me is makes me appreciate Cam, his agent and DG. Cam could have made a big stink and this would have been the biggest news all year long. Instead they did it the right way. Out of the Media. DG and Cam's agent got him a good deal without bankrupting the team. This shows just how much Class Cam really has.

Each year we load up IMO with some damn good talent. The BPA theory is working. I think it will depend on who we draft. If we draft a 1st round DT someone is leaving. I haven't decided if KK is good because he has Star demanding all the attention or is just that good. I'll let the experts decide that. You always have to look to replace your aging veterans but as long as you keep adding to the mix fresh young TOP talent those decisions get easier.

Well you know he just doesn't get paid enough so to augment that measly paycheck he does side work as a body guard.

Makes you miss Ol Jake. I hope they have a Jake Delhomme game on day soon. He may not have been the best QB in the NFL but I dare you to show me a QB with more passion than he did. He clearly is one of my all time favorites.

Was watching Jake. Damn that boy could drop back fast. I don't know if I have ever seen Cam drop back that fast. Cool to see Proehl in the video. That was 2005 or part of it. Smitty's Triple Crown Year. Awesome video

Totally caught me off-guard. I was expecting something totally different. Thanks for the laugh. Funchess takes over #1 duties by Midseason. KB and Funchess both break 1000 yds. Cam throws for 4000 yd for the first time since 2012. Defense is the #1 defense in the most important category. Points Allowed SF goes 0-16 and Claim the season a success because Kapaernik runs for more yards than he throws.

​I don't know that is as necessary with Proehl. I would hate to cut a quality WR just so we keep a vet on the team.

Is the perennial weakness becoming a Strength? It appears that someone worthy of a spot is going to get cut. Including our newly signed FA Boykins.

Always great to see a guy who can be versatile. It really looks like he is absorbing his lessons.

​This is because he was not drafted and everyone wants to think he is a mandatory J.R. player. Truth is. Bersin has worked his butt off over the past 3 years and has made himself a solid NFL receiver. I am 110% happy with Jeremy's list as him being #4. I look forward to a solid preseason from Bersin and will not be surprised if he stays #4.

I don't think Bersin is the token Panther because he is from JR.s college. I think he has been around long enough that he is more worthy than some of the bigger names. If you are looking a good possession receiver. I like Bersin. Good hands, very reliable, great routes and is tall. I have no idea who I think will be cut. For the first time in many years. Teams are going to be watching our cut list. That seems odd to say.

Thank God they aren't flat....All I would do is curve it anyhow.

As you can see by most of your first page post. I don't see how you can exclude older fans. Ever since I was a young man who started watching football I have always been a Carolina fan even if we didn't have a team. I always dreamed this area should have a team. I remember the short lived WFL Carolina Cougars.. The moment the I heard that Carolina's were putting together a franchise bid. I have been a fan. I can tell you, you won't find a more rabid fan of this team. Many on my level but not higher. I eat, sleep and drink Panther Football.

Should be the whole damn season if you ask me. Especially after those smug comments he made the other day.

Shaw is filling a Hybrid role. Once he gets his position down he'll be fine. I wouldn't be screaming bust just yet.

He was also the conference defensive player of the year. While he isn't Luke I am positive he will be a great special team asset and learn from a great core of Linebackers.

Offer him a big money(comparable to a first or second round) three year deal contingent being cleared. The most creative team wins

After watching the Presser with Gettleman and Rivera I am more at ease with the pick. We got fair value for the pick. I think he'll be a good compliment to KB. Could be a nice Duo for years to come.

That's fair.... I would think that would be a good rookie year for a 2nd round pick.

Have any of you "we gotta get a speed receiver" think that maybe Hill is that other speed receiver or our staff has faith that Ginn and Brown are more than enough. I just watched his highlights and am satisfied that Funchess is a good pick. BTW I seriously doubt we moved up the draft just to Fug New Orleans or Atlanta. They may have been targeting him but G'man felt he was valuable enough to go after.
