I don’t think Darnold plays the whole season. 11 games. ~2200 yards. 11 TDs, 8 INTs. 4-7 record. Panthers are in the market for a QB next season.

Jameis and Darnold are very similar. Both were highly drafted with a lot of physical tools and potential. I’ll admit Jameis has shown more at the NFL level than Darnold has. Tampa gave him some weapons at least. Going to be interesting to see if either QB can resurrect their career. Personally I think Jameis has a good shot. The Saints are a well coached team and Payton will put him in controlled winnable situations and not force him to do everything like he did in Tampa. Darnold, who knows. Already showing signs of being shell shocked in the preseason and the Panthers have a bad offensive line. We might be up a creek if Darnold flops this season.

He’s a Rhule guy who tows the party line so he might be a tough cut. At least he’s not starting this year for sure.

Agreed on Roy. He’s a dime a dozen time space eater who takes up a blocker so other guys can make plays. Replaceable spot. I never thought he was that great but I guarantee Ron and Hurney are probably bringing him to WFT

I think it makes sense to keep PJ. The offensive line has issues and his athleticism would be key if Darnold went down.

If they can actually get trade value for a long snapper, you take it. Either one. But given the uncertainty at kicker I think keeping Jansen makes sense at this time.

Unless he gets him for a stupid low price and Sam Darnold is still on the team sign me up for a low risk gamble.

I think with the new kicker I’d keep Jansen. Unless Fletcher has been great I can’t say for sure
