  1. WHAAAAT!!!! This is crazy Johnson's injury could be more serious than we thought...
  2. Not gonna lie I think Jacksonville is the better team than Houston. The Jags are getting royally fuged with their schedule this year, are playing less than 8 true home games in Jacksonville and only two real home games in two months. I'd say they'd have a better record than Houston this year if it wasn't for their fuged up schedule. On that note, any team starting a QB that was thrown out of Cleveland and actually thinks they can blow out a team, any team, deserves to be ridiculed.
  3. Let them have their moment of delusion. Their team has been so awful that these dreams are the closest they will get to actually winning
  4. I hope that was just a bad game because the dude can get open. With Ginn and Brown starting, the Panthers have their fastest guys on the field. Big change from when it was thought to be Funchess and Benjamin.
  5. I can't shake the feeling the Panthers are still a .500 team. I'm going 9-7. Defense looks good, but lacks an elite pass rusher to make them Top 5. Fourth straight year top 10, offense ranks around 17-19, top 5 in rushing, near dead last in passing offense. Division is better, but 9-7 could still be enough to win it.
  6. I thought that was more out of necessity than because he was on the bubble. They let go of Lee Ward already and Brockel was hurt so who else was there to play FB?
  7. Not necessarily, Todman or Whitaker could be cut. Fill the same role.
  8. I hope they keep 4 RBs this year. If last year was any indication (starting their 6th string RB for a couple games), it's that RB depth is important. Stewart, CAP, Whitaker, Todman. That's depth.
  9. But there could be teams that absolutely tank this season willing to part with a high-priced veteran WR. If Carolina can start strong, what's to say a team that is struggling by Week 5 wouldn't be willing to make a trade? Vincent Jackson???
  10. I don't see Cotchery getting cut, but Tolbert has a fat contract and clears up space to go get a veteran WR that gets cut so, who knows. Definitely one of the more interesting cut downs we have seen as Panther fans
  11. I agree with Marcus Lucas making the roster now - but do you think he'll get looks at WR too?
  12. Well fug-king poo. Funchess better step up...GOD DAMN IT THIS SUCKS
  13. Who cares? Why do you? How do you even rank a "top-rated" LT? Whitworth and Peters routinely find themselves on so-called "top-rated" lists. If Williams can play, who cares how much he weighs? Why does this matter? Do you just need something to be right about today?
  14. Peters played at 345lbs for much of his career at a high level until losing weight this offseason. Still checks in at 320. http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2015/8/6/9103715/eagles-jason-peters-25-pounds-weight-ice-cream-diet-bike-philadelphia Whitworth is 330lbs http://www.nfl.com/player/andrewwhitworth/2495977/profile Trent Williams is 337lbs http://www.nfl.com/player/trentwilliams/497073/profile King Dunlap is at 330lbs http://www.nfl.com/player/kingdunlap/2507498/profile Greg Robinson is 332lbs http://www.nfl.com/player/gregrobinson/2543458/profile Cordy Glenn is 345lbs http://www.nfl.com/player/cordyglenn/2532849/profile It's not like there aren't top quality LT's playing over 330. Daryl Williams fits the mold.
  15. Uh, a lot. Tyron Smith, Jason Peters, Andrew Whitworth...just to name a few current ones. In the past: Jonathan Ogden, Orlando Pace, Walter Jones. HOF guys.
  16. Wonder if Daryl Williams will get a shot at LT
