  1. Trade Bridgewater to the Colts for draft assets Trade said draft assets and more to the Texans for Watson Profit.
  2. Is there a top rookie QB on the bench? 10 Is Bridgewater the only option? 1
  3. Financially it’s the best way to get the deal done TBH
  4. Deshaun to the Jets, he would be an idiot to accept that. Their skills players are garbage and that franchise destroys careers. Plus the Bills are a monster, the Dolphins are a solid team now, and the Patriots still have Belichick. Meanwhile the NFC South has the declining Falcons who have old skill players who suck and a terrible cap situation, the Saints are turning the team over to a failed Bucs QB or a gadget player, and the Bucs are a Brady retirement away from being a dumpster fire again. I’d rather be on the Panthers with DJ, Robby, and CMC. But hey, who knows what will happen.
  5. I’m honestly more hopeful about any QB the Panthers draft because he most likely will not have to start his rookie season. The best QB’s had some time on the bench when they were rookies. Let’s just look at the QBs left in the playoffs. Josh Allen started mid rookie season. Brady didn’t start until his 2nd season, Mahomes sat for a season, and Rodgers spent 3 years on the bench. None of them started the first game their rookie season. With Bridgewater on the roster next season it’s the perfect time to draft a rookie. As soon as the rookie is ready, Bridgewater gets the boot.
  6. If NE keeps Cam I bet they sign Samuel. They might sign him even if they don’t keep Cam. Samuel is a classic Belichick guy. Plays all over the field.
  7. I’m happy to hear that. Tepper is (probably) a massive f*cking asshole. You don’t make billions being a nice guy. A guy with as big a personality as Tepper needs a guy running his team that will tell him to leave them alone and let them work. They are football professionals and that’s why Tepper hired them. Tepper is a football fan, that owns a team. Plain and simple.
  8. The amount he has played through college and his pro career is really high. He probably has as many touches as another RB who is 30. Not saying CMC isn’t still a great player but he will never achieve the numbers he put up in 2019 again. He wouldn’t stay healthy for another season with that kind of usage, few players would. History has shown us that time and a lot of touches aren’t kind of RBs. If there’s a chance to trade him for Watson, I do it without hesitation.
  9. CMC’s best days are clearly behind him. Running backs never sustain the kind of play he achieved in 2019. He’s still a great player, but he’s definitely on the slow decline. Mike Davis and a running back by committee approach would be a good thing. But if they can find a way to keep CMC AND get Watson....look out! The irony if the Panthers trade CMC for Watson when they could have just drafted him then lol.
  10. The cost is probably going to be too high. Texans are obviously going to want a kings ransom.
  11. Panthers are in the NFC. Texans may be more willing to trade him out of the conference than to an AFC team.
  12. Not mad a Brady for trying to level up at all. Dude has a chance to get the top job, go get it if you can. I just think it’s frankly ridiculous that he’s even being considered. I haven’t done any digging on the subject but I would wager he’d be one of if not the most inexperienced head coach in NFL history.
  13. The list of former Reid assistants that go on to have success is strong. It is maybe the best current coaching tree there is. Four of his former assistants are head coaches of 2020 playoff teams. McDermott, Harbaugh, Rivera, and Nagy. Bienemey is, by the metrics, a much more sure bet to at least be a decent head coach more than many of the other candidates getting interviews.
  14. And yet someone like Eric Bienemey looks like he will go another offseason without getting a shot. It is really strange what teams do. The fact Joe Brady is even getting these interviews is ridiculous. He’s been a coordinator at ANY level for one season, and frankly the results weren’t even that great. I was HOPING the Falcons would hire him because I was extremely confident given his lack of experience and time in the NFL, it would be a colossal failure. We will see if some team is naive enough to think a guy with that little experience can be a head coach. Maybe if he was paired up with a very experienced senior coach like Wade Phillips, it might have a chance at success, but could tear a locker room apart with guys seeing Wade as the real head coach. Time will tell.
  15. Brady might be the least qualified candidate to ever become a head coach at the NFL level and it won’t even be close.
  16. He’s better than that. His QB situation has been garbage most of the time he’s been on the Panthers.
  17. That’s what should happen but I haven’t seen anything from this team to assume they know what they are doing. No QB, inexperienced cocky owner with a rookie former college head coach on a ridiculously expensive and long contract is a recipe for a miserable decade.
  18. Who knows what stupid decisions this franchise has in store for us. It’s probably going to be a rough next 10+ years.
  19. It's probably a good time to start thinking about getting out of the market and holding a cash position for awhile. Gonna drop again pretty soon as more COVID cases surge.
