  1. I noticed several of his sacks were when he actually had *decent* protection and didn’t make a decision. whenever the pressure was immediately on him he improvised pretty miraculously to get the ball out. Interesting observation. Gotta be where his mind is with the protection he’s had throughout his career.
  2. Chubba seemed like he could replicate mike Davis’s production last year as long as cmc was out. davis certainly isn’t lighting the world on fire in atlanta so he has out scheme to thank for getting him paid $$$
  3. Derek brown may, in fact, have been the very best draft pick we could have made last year. AND dejuan Jones may be the most underrated FA signing we’ve had in a long long time
  4. I thought he was going to be an absolute steal where we drafted him based on what I saw in college. I also really like Royce freeman so I’m a bit bias in thinking we will be serviceable while waiting for cmc to get back.
  5. Doctor, can you please provide analysis of how many of these players reinjured their hamstring later in the year or were just reinjured themselves because of overcompensating with other body parts? I’m sure Reddit has this information readily available
  6. Royce freeman is known for his pass protection. Not so much his running.
  7. Joe Brady played the Saints twice last year and lost… so that argument seems valid
  8. See saban, nick. not saying rhule will, but saban also took over a ‘dumpster fire’ (from our favorite Shula no less!!!) and he turned out alright.
  9. Trying to understand how this is legal or why it doesn’t happen more often? Less likely to get caught if you are stashing a LS over something like an OT?
  10. I’m not one to talk team chemistry and such but Grier was the one organizing and leading offseason trainings in Charlotte for practically the entire offense. Even through Covid when players were not allowed at facilities he setup times for the team to get work in. I’m not saying he’s a great backup, but if you are going to have a qb that can’t win games be your #2, his leadership in the local community was probably pretty undervalued.
  11. Was Jimmy clausen really put in a position to succeed? I’m not saying he was going to work out anyways but… his confidence was shot by the 5th game. Someone should have saved him from himself
  12. Would you check the ball down if it’s to a 67 year old Frank gore? The jets refused to play their younger RBs in favor of gore for some reason. He hasn’t been known as a check down specialist very much during his career.
  13. Note the draft grades for the bears... unfortunately the ‘overall draft grades’ are actually the ‘grades dependent on how many players you drafted that I’ve heard of’
  14. This tweet is what sent me down the rabbit hole
  15. Can someone elaborate on the off field concerns? I’ve heard that with several of our draft picks but cannot find specifics on what that means. There’s a bit of a difference between being an immature college kid and a serial killer, but both can be considered off field concerns ha
  16. For those wondering why we just got the best WR prospect coming out of high school. Definition of boom or bust
  17. There’s a fine like between earl thomas, all-pro Seahawks safety, and early Thomas, nuclear bomb locker room destroyer. let’s hope everyone stays on the right side of that line
