  1. Need to evaluate the roster at this point. Zavala and/or Mays will start getting the reps again. Maybe some Jansen in there too
  2. They may take a flyer on day 3 or UDFA but QB is not the concern right now.
  3. It has only been one offseason, they never were going to have all the players to fit the scheme. It sucks and there was certainly hope the team could be competitive with some of the talent on the roster and the weak division, but this very common with a brand new offensive and defensive schemes.
  4. Would trade for a WR in a heart beat. Don't know why people are so against it just because year 1 is off to a bad start. The issue was obvious once Moore was traded and they still need to address it going forward, so if there is a deal to be had for a WR1 or WR2 just pounce.
  5. Marquise Brown would be my top target at WR. Jeudy ok too. Chinn, YGM, Luvu should all be on the trading block due to fit and or their remaining contract length.
  6. We need a #2 as well so if you can find a really good deal for one I'm good with pouncing. That being said, Hardman is on an expiring contract so pass, he'll be there in the offseason if you really like him.
  7. Was figuring closer to 8 weeks on that one. Surprised we haven't heard anything on the Haynes front though and hopefully hear something on Christensen next week too.
  8. Data could be poo, but there is also more factors than just the QB that goes into throwing the deep ball. Data is just an indicator, the tape is still king.
  9. Can't find Theilen but I expect at best bottom right. Keep an eye on this for potential free agent/trade targets. Separation would be my top WR quality and not surprised to see players mentioned on this board like Aiyuk, Adams, Cooper, Jeudy and Brown doing well there.
  10. Marquis Brown or Jerry Jeudy seem like possible in-season trades. Add Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson, Brandon Aiyuk, Davante Adams as possible targets more likely come the offseason. Probably only Aiyuk requires a first rounder too. If you need draft capital back, (with Brown and Burns likely off the table) players like Chinn or YGM would likely have some trade value at this point and are not true fits here. Luvu could be a trade piece too due to his contract.
  11. It's an upgrade and WR1 this year. I think he'd be a good fit too, but I hope they still target another WR1 maybe next offseason I'd think of him as a Devonta Smith but still needing to find an AJ Brown
  12. Kupp is still good, but he also gets to go up against Linebackers and Safeties a lot because of McVay's Scheme. Same deal is happening with Puka.
  13. The narrative that followed Tua after his rookie year is going to be the same the follows Bryce. Borrow before Chase and Josh Allen pre-Diggs were pretty much the same too.
  14. Fantasy football has warped so many people's understanding of good play.
  15. This doesn't have to be solved in one year. 3 teams pop into my head right away with how they handled supplying weapons around their young QBs. Philly, Miami and Buffalo. Philly: QB 2020, 1st round WR 2021 (Devonta Smith), Trade WR 2022 (AJ Brown) Miami: QB 2020, 1st round WR 2021 (Jaylen Waddle), Trade WR 2022 (Tyreek Hill) Buffalo: QB 2018, FA WR 2019 (John Brown), Trade WR 2020 (Stefon Diggs) There are potential WR trade targets that won't cost 1st round picks, their will probably be an undervalued free agent WRs, team is currently likely will use use their second rounder on another weapon too like it did with Mingo this past year.
  16. He would have gone Round 1 last year. We ironically have a chance at him this season with the increased WR talent in the draft but if he continues to ball out he could go up to WR2.
  17. "The major issue with (blank) — and pretty much the biggest issue surrounding the entire team — centers around what kind of jump he can make if the (team) improve the quality of the playmakers around him and the offense is opened up when he’s in the lineup." See if you can guess who this quote was about after his rookie season. It's only been 2 games (+3 preseason) but I see eerily similar issues. OL struggles mixed with a lack of weapons and a conservative/vanilla approach to playcalling currently. I know we're begging for the turnaround to finally arrive but deep breaths.
  18. Johnny Newton is unblockable for Illinois. Need to watch his game more.
  19. You're best bet for a depth chart toper is likely going to be on the trade market or potential cap casualties. I can see players like Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson or Brandon Aiyuk coming available because of contract demands/cap purposes. Brandin Cooks is available for trade every year too lol.
  20. These are straight out of that All-22 stopped during Bryce's throwing motion. You can clearly see the difference.
  21. Corner is still overtop when Bryce goes to throw. This is certainly a chemistry thing but its the right read by Bryce.
  22. Pressure is coming around what looks like the RG before or right as AT breaks that double move so it looks like me might have dropped his eyes at that point. I think he had room to step into the pocket and take that shot, but he might have went to escape where there was a free late rusher.
  23. He might not have saw him but probably wasn't expecting him there either. Looks like he got tricked because they look to be in a Cover 2 look and Theilen's route is supposed to drag Bates with him but Falcons dropped their slot deep so Bates gets a free run at the crosser.
  24. This is really a fantastic post, thank you for taking the time and posting it for all us to see. I'm trying to be understanding in my assumptions because I don't know whats being coached here but it looks like a combination some good, some bad, some tricks from Atlanta and needing to hit on some deep shots to open up the field.
