What do you mean the 3rd divisional wildcard? I just simmed the season and 7th place could very well finish 12-5 that's not going to be anyone from the East or South. San fran la Seattle green bay and Detroit are all going to have very good records that leaves division winners from the East and South. We need to win 10 games to have a shot at the division

I wouldn't call a half game back "anywhere near playoff positioning" but do agree that the 3 wild card teams are going to have very good records. The bears and niners will probably be in that range for the 7th spot. I think eagles, Packers, Rams, Lions are locks and Seahawks probably as well that means we realistically have to win the South to get in because I don't see a way the bears or niners don't win 10 games

I think you're wrong about the same game plan beating the bills. I don't think we were capable of holding the bills to 13 points regardless of what our defense did so he felt like we had to score 24-28 points to win against Buffalo. I've been a fan of DC since the hire and believe he can be really really successful with an NFL caliber QB. I just don't know how we go about getting that in here next year
