I enjoyed beating the game but what its really lacking is multiplayer.
-
Cam didn't fall short though. And he certainly didn't lose to Manning. He was headhunted the entire game and was cheated out of biggest momentum play of the game with the Cotchery catch. We played like ass but we weren't allowed to compete when the NFL was setting up Peyton for his retirement trophy. Cam beat Brady twice. The article isn't wrong about team building but eluding to Cam not surpassing his athleticism isn't fair. If Drew Brees had Cam's ability, he wouldn't play like Drew Brees.

Cam was a freak of nature in his prime. He had his own style of play. And he could absolutely sling ball. But it was never Cams job to prove to people he could dink and dunk like Drew Brees. His skill set picked up the easy yards with this legs when he couldn’t trust his receivers. But he was a clutch thrower of the football at his peak.

Carolina Panthers - Baltimore Ravens Joint Practice 1

That’s my DE -
If that’s what’s going on then it’s obviously a problem. But one thing I like about this forum is we typically have enough level headed people here to call out this sort of thing and bury all their arguments. That said I haven’t ventured to the Lounge of Tinderbox in a while.

Some of you never talked poo on Xbox live and it shows

Thats the thing. If you put somebody on the ignore list, then they win.

Dude Rhule is an NFL headcoach. He has to manage like 30 things at a time. Every coach compartmentalizes a player injury during a game. It was just a bad cut from the camera.
-
Rhule was trying to "hold" the lead today ?

I think that's just Brian being candid and the fact that Rhule is a different type of coach from Ron. -
Who was the best Carolina Panthers player today?
OneBadCat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Personally I think DJ can run a late 4.3. He plays faster than his time. Something about his stride just takes a moment to hit top speed. But he can very much break away from the secondary. -
I mean I’m not the guys biggest fan but most of his throws were on the money today. But they clearly lack the confidence in him to air it out. He has a live arm though. Hope he gets a legitimate last chance this preseason and let fate play out.
-
Eh I think its just a bad cut from the camera. Rhule did over to him when he was on the ground. Coaches are talking to 20 people at a time during the game.
-
Wow Rhule is gonna eat them alive
-
Wow no confidence in Grier.
-
Wtf was their QB thinking? He had the underneath route.
-
Depth wise yes. Nobody on Smiths level but top to bottom it has to be most complete one. Not sure that Shi Smith and Marshall have the speed of Cutis Samuel though. Last years unit was great too.
-
That was nice throw by Will
-
Damn man Smitty calls it like he sees it.

For real?

Thursday joint practice news and tweets
OneBadCat replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wouldn't look too much into it. This is their first time facing another team that I doubt they game planned for. Rhule has specific things he wants to see and work on. Not an excuse. But talent wise we can compete with these guys if it were a real game. -
Carolina Panthers Training Camp - Monday Thread

Sounds like Darnold is heating up a bit -
Eh he probably just likes to teach and coach man. Seemed like a really nice guy and I enjoyed his efforts when he was with the staff.

No that game was Manning getting his retirement trophy at the expense of Cam Newton and the Panthers. We didn’t have our best game but it wasn’t even close to a fairly called game. The Cotchery catch alone could have changed the game. Not to mention the fact that Cam was headhunted the entire game without consequence.

Madden 22 ranks panthers second worst team in the league
OneBadCat replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
They do one step forward and three steps back. The coaching adjustments are nice but the game is still plagued with the same problems for the last decade. Basically every other scrub just does the same no huddle run bullshit over and over to try and score. That or shotgun draw which is basically the most overpowered play in the game. Crucial dropped passed on 3rd and long for no reason. WR's getting rerouted with no flags. It is most definitely a bad game. The Panthers arent a bad team to use but Teddy is awful and has a 5 second wind up. The o-line gets destroyed by any team with a decent defense. -

Well it just shows a lack of research on the developers. Our defense is fairly stacked and offensively we are strong at the peripherals.
