  1. And there it is… Coker to the PS
  2. XL is more of a Dan and Dave fit then it is Bryce for me. When has Bryce ever been the type to throw it up 50/50 style for his WR to go get? He definitely didn’t do it at Bama (he didn’t have to) but he didn’t do it last year either
  3. That stupid S2 test must’ve carried so much weight in that room while debating QB’s Turn on the damn tape. CJ’s film was littered with big time NFL throws every game. Smoothest drop back and delivery. By far the most accurate and best thrower. Might be a while before we see another like him. Next year I’m Carson Beck or bust. I’m comping Beck to Lawrence. Has all the tools. Would like to see more. Similar stature. Similar mobility. Similar arms
  4. And I’ve said this exact thing a few times. If Canales can turn Geno and Baker around I’d LOVE to see what he could do with a QB who has all the tools. From the looks of it they’re building the line and want to establish the run game. They got their big outside WR’s in Legette and Mingo. If Bryce isn’t it I think they go and get their guy next season. I still think if Geno is cut for cap purposes in Seattle that he ends up here. Be another stopgap until we draft another QB
  5. I’m telling you I know for a fact if it wasn’t Bryce it was going time AR. Believe me or not don’t matter. Whether Morgan was team Bryce or not I have no idea. But just reading between the lines and seeing what he’s all brought in and his style of football it’s tough to think he was
  6. Yep. I think Dan really wants a big and tough team. There’s no damn way he wanted Bryce. Both Dan and Dave want to run the ball and take deep shots. That’s literally the exact opposite of Young’s game. Struggles with deep ball and can’t be lined up under center. I’m guessing Dan and Dave agreed to try and build up this roster first before finding their QB to bring in. Look at the one QB they brought in… Plummer is 6’5”
  7. Well if they didn’t take Bryce it was going to be AR Maybe Dan was the one driving that bus
  8. Yep seems like they’re going to ride this out with Moton as they should. I think they know he doesn’t have much left. Missed a ton of camp days and I feel like he’s been dealing with a knee issue since forever If they cut Moton next year they’ll free up 17 million in space If by some miracle we don’t need to draft a QB in 2025 I’m guessing we’ll go tackle with our top 10 pick
  9. Yeah he knows this team blows They were very careful with the rebuilding questions too. Knowing full well the speed of a rebuild depends on a QB
  10. Dan Morgan when talking about the corners ”it’s a big man’s league” You can’t convince me this guy wanted Bryce
  11. I wonder where they want him to play. He played both LG and RG against the Saints in week 2. Pretty sure they had him listed as a tackle. I wonder if they’ll experiment with him at center
  12. Well Coker for sure will be brought back if he clears wouldn't be hard to clear a spot for ISM if need be. And yeah, I get it but such is life in the NFL… I guess
  13. That’s the whole point of hanging onto Coker for that extra day He’ll go to the PS if he clears waivers. I assume ISM will too
  14. Stacked lol We have one of the worst WR groups in the league. Marshall ISM and Coker aren’t changing that
  15. I’m sure it’s been mentioned but I’m excited about Jarrett Kingston. Might’ve found something with him
  16. I would’ve liked to have seen Sam Howell brought in given the situation as a whole. Obviously would’ve had to bring someone in they could sell as a developmental guy and not someone threading for the starting job. They chose not to hurt Young’s confidence this offseason instead of finding a better fit at QB I agree though neither Young or Dalton fit what Canales likes to do
  17. In order for the Canales/Bryce marriage to work Bryce is going to have to prove that he is 1) willing to throw deep and 2) that he can throw deep https://www.milehighreport.com/2024/3/8/24092154/2023-regular-season-passing-by-direction-and-distance#:~:text=Brock Purdy led the league, and completed 20 of them.
  18. It also appears (to me at least) his arm angle has changed a bit since the Arkansas game. NFL Bryce throws more overhead versus pre Arkansas it was definitely more of a 3/4 arm angle I watched the Florida game from 2021 yesterday and he threw 50 yards without really stepping into his throw. His arm definitely used to look a lot more lively. Yeah my main concern with Bryce was always his arm strength. The size didn’t bother me as much. It was always the arm. There just weren’t many NFL style boundary throws on his tape. 2021 Bryce used to be able to drive the ball much better
  19. I feel like Young’s arm has never been the same since that injury at Arkansas
  20. Ollie Connolly has legitimate concerns over the Canales/Bryce marriage. Based off of what Canales has done in the past with Russ and Baker it doesn’t mesh well with Bryce’s strengths. Mina goes on to say she think Young knows his arm limitations and that’s why he didn’t throw that ball to Mingo on Saturday and ultimately ended up taking a sack. It’s a real good in-depth conversation and Ollie goes in-depth on the type of offense he’d like to see Young in
  21. Bryce basically talked in circles without saying anything much when asked about Marshall. This guy touches his arms more than Sam Darnold would say “you know” during every presser. For someone who’s been doing interviews his whole life it’s crazy how uncomfortable he always looks up there
  22. Ian is our only “blocking” tight end. Not quite sure why this is such a shock I don’t think he’s very good at blocking compared to the rest of the league but compared to what we have on our roster he’s the best at it sadly
