  1. Steichen was my number 1, but I really wanted Ryans as well if we went with the defensive minded HC. I love his passion and that he DC from the sidelines so he could be there with his players. Ryans probably had more energy from a loud fart than Frank had all season
  2. Fitts laid that bar across the Grand Canyon and is mooning them from the bottom.
  3. He's actually much better against the run than Burns.
  4. His toughness is the one thing I don't think people are questioning. It's everything else that has people asking WTF.
  5. From what I remember of the pre-draft process, BY was highest floor and lowest ceiling of the top 3. I don't understand how you give up what we did for the player with the least potential if successful. I was and still am a huge AR fan, but the biggest concern I had was him trying to run in the NFL and the pounding he would take resulting in injuries and a shortened career. He would also need the right coach. At 1, Stroud was the best pick given the trade. Safest QB passing ability with the lowest risk of injury due to size and playing style.
  6. The Huddle has been right about more draft picks and trades than Fitterer.
  7. Reich is getting 30 million reasons to not GAF
  8. Don't disagree with any of that. But if the fans have been able to see since preseason that he wasn't ready, it had to be damn sure obvious to the coaching staff he wasn't. This season was never about winning. It was about Tepper proving he knew football. No one should give 2 shits about where a player was drafted, put the best damn players on the field, period. This is a got damn poo show. Fug Tepper and his bitch Fitterer.
  9. To show you actually give a fug about winning.
  10. Bryce should have never been the starter. He was never ready. This was all about playing Bryce, not about winning. Unfortunately, Dalton has always been our best option, such as it is. This is about Tepper and being in control. He and Nicole drafted BY, and he can't look like he doesn't know what he's doing. Except for everyone watching knows.
  11. Burns isn't getting a top 2 pick. Bryce is worthless at this point in a trade.
  12. If you look at those 5, they all can get separation without it having to be created by play design or a missed assignment. For whatever reason, going back to Benjamin, we seem to love big receivers who can make the contested catch (theoretically), but they can't seem to get open to have a QB look their way. Look at AT. He's not the fastest guy, or the biggest, but his routes are as clean and sharp as any of the top receivers and he can work himself open. We need guys who can get open enough to make a catch, not just ones that can make a contested one.
  13. Yes. The food and beer is mediocre at best compared to other sports venues. If the Panthers didn't get a share of the profits, Tepper would be in a hot mess and he would be in the red. Who is his marketing department targeting? Who is beating down the doors to license the worst franchise across all sports for the last 5 years? Panthers gear is on the clearance rack in thrift shops because no one wants it. This franchise is a joke. The Panthers have zero marketability right now except for maybe pepto. When watching the Panthers gives you nausea, heartburn, idegestion, upset stomach, diarrhea.
  14. Which brings us back full circle to the question, how much did Tepper influence the pick? I doubt we'll ever truly know but having to even ask that question in light of Nicole being involved in a day 2 trade makes you question everything that's going on inside this organization.
  15. They were willing to trade him prior to the tag if they got a ridiculous offer, rumor was 3 1sts and 2nds and maybe a player or 2. After the tag it was just a matter of matching another team's offer if their was one.
  16. To me, the term "consensus" would imply that regardless of the coach or system, that's going to be the pick. Stroud or AR fit Reich's system better than Young which would mean that could be the pick for that reason alone. To me that's not really a "consensus." I know what the term means, it's just in this case, I don't think it necessarily applies like it is being portrayed as a Manning, Luck or Lawrence type prospect.
  17. I think the ones he's referring to are those that buy PSLs as fans and just write the check regardless of what the product has been. Now it's to the point that it's getting really hard to write that check when this is the product being put on the field. No money wasted on merchandise or being spent on overpriced stale beer and gas station food at the stadium. The fan that had that money to spend is now finding other places to use it that provide a better return on investment. There's probably not a huge % of them left, but they're leaving to be replaced by the corporate PSL who really doesn't care what the end product is as long as they can write it off on their taxes and maybe get a playoff game once in a while.
