  1. The question I was referring to was specifically about why haven't we seen the connection that developed from Sam and Robby's time in New York transfer to this season... To which Rhule says they are trying to develop that connection and that Robby needs to make plays. He then goes on to say this was a disappointing day globally and there will probably be an article about how well the defense played, but they've had a chance to weeks in a row to make a stop and didn't make it. So, uh.... you need to fix yours I guess? My comments weren't meant to be a big point of contention... as its been said here plenty of times, it's coach speak... trying to make the defense share the blame with the shitty offense because its a team game, yada yada. I didn't agree with what he said. I made a few comments. And now you guys have been throwing personal insults all day because a stranger shared his opinion on the internets.
  2. 25th in the league in 2nd half points.... Tbf to Rhule and Brady, tho... we have played the incredibly dominate defenses of the Jets, Saints, Texans, Cowboys and Eagles. All of which are in the bottom half of the league when it comes to points allowed(besides the saints who were missing 2 starting CBs and their MLB at the time). Oops. Shouldn't expect them to be able to score on those elite defenses.
  3. I watched the press conference. ergo I don't need to read the articles. ergo No clicks It's really not a tough concept lil fella.
  4. idk man, I quite like the online. The offline kinda sucks tbh.
  5. When they have no legitimate talking points, they cue the personal attacks. I've received a lot of those today from disgruntled fans. Reeks of insecurity, tbh.
  6. Robby dropping the ball doesn't negate Darnold's poor decision making. But yes, Robby has been a huge disappointment this season.
  7. It's not an article. It's a press conference. Rhule was asked a question. He went out of his way to say the defense is to blame as well Coach speak or not, it's not true. The defense gave the offense plenty of chances to win. I call that out. Homers with rose colored glasses see my post. They get butthurt. They make a snarky reply. it's the circle of the huddle.
  8. Same. I like the guy. I hope he figures it out but if his play yesterday becomes the norm, then we definitely gotta move on.
  9. They are bad, bad. It's almost as if he literally isn't seeing the defense. I think the game is too fast to him. He can't process it that fast or something. Because he said it best, it's like he's seeing ghosts out there.
  10. I think we should we go OL with the first pick too. I wouldn't be upset. However, Sam isn't the answer.
  11. They'll blame anything but Sam for Sam's decisions.
  12. If you take a glance above your post, you'll notice we talked about improving the offensive line. The point is getting a good QB to go along with that line. As poo as the offensive line is, they didn't make Sam throw those interceptions yesterday. Those were all bad decisions made by Sam himself.

  14. Trust me, I know. What's the point if you can't win it all? This offense isn't there and it won't be until we replace Sam and the offensive line. Picking up his option was the dumbest thing we did in the off season.
  15. Panthers fans don't make front office decisions. If they were fired, it's because they were bad. If they got hired on as a HC, it means they were probably good.
  16. He never said that tho. He said we need a QB that can play ball when the offensive line is outmatched. Your offensive line isn't going to hold up perfectly in every game. And when they don't hold up, you need a QB that can carry you the rest of the way. He actually said the two aren't mutually exclusive. Which they arent. You can have a good QB AND a good oline. We have neither. I hope as much as anybody that Sam improves. But so far, he has only regressed.
  17. All you gotta say is: 2015 MVP. #1 scoring offense in the league with no line and no receivers. Cam did that. Sam threw 3 bad interceptions yesterday. The poor offensive line play is inexcusable. But to place the 3 interceptions all on them is disingenuous. Sam made poor decisions and they'll do anything to refute any point that says otherwise. Including ignoring the videos of all 3 interceptions that I've posted in this thread that doesn't show him get hit once, but did show him make 3 bad decisions.
  18. The other interception I haven't posted yet for anyone who wants to see it again. Starts at 8:48. Plenty of time to throw. Steps into his throw and throws right to the defender. So... in conclusion, he wasn't actually being hit on any of these interceptions and was in duress for maybe one of them.
  19. If I had Steve's number, I would. Then he'd probably punch me. He tends to do that.
  20. The throw isn't the issue in that play. The ball was placed perfectly.... if there weren't any defenders there. The problem is there were defenders there. And Sam still threw it.
  21. They knew what was coming. And it was covered. That's on Brady. But Sam made a bad read and a bad decision and threw the ball. That's on Sam.
