As long as PJ is playing well they should keep platooning it, gives defensive coordinators that much more to prepare for. And allows Cam to fully get a grasp of the playbook without carrying the load.

"Robby Sucks" and "It's all the OL's fault" folks

Hate to say it, but 2 injuries may have saved our season. -
In honor of Mr. Scott ‘notes, memos’
Pantherxtreme replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Haven't seen him around since he tried to tell me I didn't understand football, because I said Bridgewater was a better Qb than Sam Darnold oof. Hope everything is ok with him. -
PJ is still undefeated

It's too bad we were watching Donald stink it up the past few weeks, when we had a better Qb already on the roster. -

I'm not going to toot my own horn, well yes I am I've been right at every angle. Said in a thread that was dedicated to bashing PJ that this would be our best offensive performance of the season. Well what ya know -
Fitterer says " We'll have to do something with Sam. "

Regardless of what Cam does Sam ain't the answer. The only people who have any inkling that Darnold has possibility of being our starting QB next year or beyond is his small fan club sprinkled on this board. I don't think Rhule even believes that anymore. -
Statistics are reality, they are a quantitative metric of how a quarterback compares to his counterparts. You're talking about one drive that Sam Darnold pulled out of his bum in a game he sucked for the majority of. I'll rather have consistency than a flash play here or there.
-
Your thoughts on Teddy who is a top 15 QB in this league is of no consequence to the fact that Rhule sealed his fate by dumping a competent QB and turning the team over to someone who won't even be in this league outside of a back up role. Going back to Cam was the best choice seeing how Rhule bungled this whole thing from the start.
-
Lol whatever.
-
Sounds eerily similar to the Darnold fans.
-
Rhule sealed his own fate when they sent Teddy walking lol. First they moved on from Cam and then they moved on from Teddy a year later. And then we find ourselves last week watching a bad quarterback playing on a bad shoulder lead our offense to zero points against a winnable NE Patriots team. I'm sure Tepper had seen enough by that point.

It's not a bs stat. No one thinks the Jets oline is great either. It just means Donald is processing things slow and not getting rid of the ball. Same for the rookie in New York whose been sacked a ton also. Mike White played behind the same line in New York and got the ball out quick and they had their best passing game of the season.

Teddy B I’m sorry, it wasn’t all your fault!

Yea I definitely have a problem with reading nonsense. -

Haha man please yeah it's DJ and Robbie fault lol. I'm sure if you asked them who they prefer throwing them the rock between the two; let's just say we know who it wouldn't be. -

Says a guy who watched our offense be able to move consistently between the 20's last season and finish middle of the pack. And now watching Sam Darnold's 3 and out fest for three hours and looking like one of if not the worst offense in the league and saying give me more of that. Lol -
Handing him the starting gig uncontested is about as much coddling as you going to see in the NFL especially for a unproven QB who failed with his last team. Even Tannehill started his redemption story as the backup until Mariota got injured. Bridgewater a much better Qb I might add had to go earn and win another starting role in Denver. Darnold was handed the keys without question even though he did nothing in New York to deserve that designation other that provide a ego notch for this coaching staff. They didn't bring in anyone else, no quality vet, nothing. The only competition we had at the QB spot was for the backup role. And not playing him in the preseason like he's Drew Brees or something when it's quite obvious he needed all the live reps he could get. They've been protecting Sam as much as you're going to see.

First of all I'm not dumb guy, I asked you for a source about some information you mentioned.
-
What's the source on this?
-
Serves them right, they had 2 playoff caliber quarterbacks in the building and gave them the walking papers, both Cam and Teddy have led teams to the playoffs, what has Darnold ever done? Gave those better players away for nothing and traded away picks to bring Pickles 2.0 here. If Tepper has been hands off, he needs to hands on now, clearly the rebuild is going off the tracks.

Yes the overall strength of the team in which Sam is not included.
