A coach’s job is not to get along with the players. Plenty of former patriots players, including successful ones, do not have good things to say about Belichick. The reason he’s never gotten that HC job is because teams have wondered how much of his success is just Andy Reid, and Pat Mahomes. Now it’s clear that it wasn’t only those 2 guys. EB will get a HC job and I think he’ll do well in it. It’s worth a chance at this point and he’ll likely be the best option after this year outside of only maybe Harbaugh but he has his own baggage.

Nah, Josh B never had any success outside of New England under Belichick. I was hesitant on Bieniemy until this year. He’s legit to be doing this on a Rivera team and with a later round QB.

All for it if Tepper would let him do his job, but from what we’ve seen I bet Harbaugh would do something to upset Tepper’s unstable ego and Tepper would get rid of him eventually, even if we were winning. Well really Rivera and DG and even Hurney. Rhule sucked too just not this level of suck. Rivera and DG/Hurney actually brought us some incredible success, not sustained but rarely back to back poor seasons

Frank has been bad and frankly wasn’t great in Indy either but I’m convinced Frank and McCown wanted Stroud. They got Bryce instead because of Tepper and to a lesser extent Fitts and have been trying to make do and adjust the scheme for him. Unsuccessfully of course. I don’t think checked out is right but I agree I think that influence has impacted Reich’s ability to coach the team as he saw fit

Completely agree, Clifford has got to go. But the talent on the team is there even without Miles, if he returns looking like the same player from when we last saw him on the court, this team will finally have an extremely positive outlook. And I would think with the new ownership and young pieces in place, we'd be one of the more sought after coaching jobs in the league.
