  1. David Carr, the original two-gloves. My mind has blocked out those times so no clue how we won that game. Jake is a sad memory because his career ended in that Atlanta game.

    MNF

Ron got bailed out twice on not kicking that chip shot field goal.
  3. I always try not to take PFF seriously but if anyone asks what is the biggest problem with the offense, I'll point at this. Here is the foundation to everything and it's airport grade toilet paper. We're setting up any QB, present or future, for failure until we get players that have some semblance of competence.
  4. The real question is whether Sam wants to take another snap as QB1? If I was him, I wouldn't.
  5. He'll probably graze his shoulder against a wall and say he's out for the season just to avoid having to step under center of this offense. I wouldn't blame Cam if he wants to sit back on his couch again either.
  6. Bringing Cam back was a business decision from a nervous owner that saw interest in the season starting to wane. Hiring Rhule was a move from a nervous owner that thought another team was going to take him. To have that same individual make any future moves makes me nervous because they could be based more on whims that neglects long term benefits for short term satisfaction. And personally, I find the "poor coaching, uninspired play" talking point so overused that it means nothing to me anymore. Frankly, we are not as talented as we think we are.
  7. I'm blind because I missed the thread title. Playoff push is technically correct. We're pushing ourselves well out of the conversation although I already felt that way weeks ago.
  8. Given some recent decisions, I worry that Tepper will make more impulsive moves that will only make things worse in the long term.
  9. 3rd and short to missing a field goal on 4th and 19th. What a shame...
  10. Stafford is beyond the line of scrimmage with a shot to run into the endzone. He runs sideways and throws it. What?
  11. That's a bad way to end the half for the Rams.
  12. Decision made sense back then and enotions after yesterday's game aside, that hasn't changed much. It was more about performance than anything else.
  13. I'll give him credit for pulling off the equivalent of The Golden Calf of Bristol-mania.
  14. I accepted that years ago before we let Cam go. It's like when Delhomme was not the same QB after his elbow surgery. It was hard to face reality that while his mind was willing, his arm was not. But hey, this franchise needs butts in the seats so it makes sense in that regard. I'm simply not going to do the mental gymnastics to believe this has any chance for sustained success. And for goodness sake, don't hand out a Hurney type of deal if this is actually happening.
  15. We literally broke another quarterback. Again! I'd say that's curtains on the Sam Darnold experiment because even if he does recover, if I were him, I'd ask to get out. We just don't give a damn about protecting what is the most important asset on the offense.
  16. Good leaders find a way to diffuse that tension, find a way to not make things worse acting by impulse for short term satisfaction but long term consequences. I can't say I have confidence Tepper is that type of owner.
  17. I also realize Aaron rhymes with Karen.
  18. That's like asking if the sun will rise tomorrow.
  19. From what I can see, people here are underestimating the Patriots. Took the Cowboys to overtime and just won against the Chargers. If we're stuck with PJ, I would take a page out of Dan Henning's playbook and bring back the Wildcat. Worked brilliantly against Belichick ages ago and it's been long enough that they won't be ready for it.
  20. If we had Mac Jones, we'd already be calling him a bust because putting a rookie behind turnstiles is a recipe for disaster.
  21. Somehow, this doesn't surprise me.

    Henry Ruggs III

This is another reason I left Vegas. What really doesn't help (other than the obvious access to booze) is the streets are often straight and quite wide. I was rear ended twice in my time there.
