  1. We're on our way of ruining yet another quarterback. Want to get another one just to waste them as well?
  2. This team is still a year away from being competitive on a weekly basis.
  3. Was going to say at least the lead stayed the same in the third quarter. Nope!
  4. There's still too much time left in the third quarter.
  5. I see it as bad news for us. That means the Saints and Packers are more likely to pick up a W from them. If it's the 8 weeks, add the Cardinals and 49ers.
  6. I'd be lying if I'm not fearing a 2014 Eagles fiasco which is in the running for all-time worst O-line performances I've ever seen.
  7. Injuries are going to completely derail our season at this rate.
  8. Playoffs is possible but what few are mentioning is that our biggest obstacle is the same as it has been over the past few years - our division rivals. Far too many bad losses have kept us away and if we want playoffs this year, beating Brady at least once is all but a prerequisite. We can't do that, then this team isn't ready. If we get to the playoffs, then it's impossible to predict, especially since it will be the first time under Rhule. I'll be impressed if we do it in year 1.5 (I don't count 2020 as a full year because COVID) since my expectation was year 3.
  9. I was wondering what had happened. Although you could argue Darnold injured his pride and his return was probable. Was going to mention this in another thread but reputation is important, not just with other GM's around the league but agents and players as well. Carolina isn't mentioned often as a potential destination for higher level talent wanting to move on from their current team but it would be nice if it was. I think this also highlights just how difficult it could be to rebuild the O-line. It's been brought up before but with the way football offenses are built at the college level, the pool of pro-ready Uglies isn't what it used to be.
  10. If Fitterer is true to his word, I want to make a deal and see what I can get for a ham sammich.
  11. How often have the Patriots bamboozled other teams with trades? Wish we knew they originally wanted. I'm on the fence with this trade. Not so much the cost but on whether this move will noticably improve us. Getting all the corners won't matter if teams are able to repeat what the Cowboys did to us.
  12. If how our staff graded him is holding water right now based on practices (3rd round tackle/2nd round guard), then Brady should go inside.
  13. I guess Arnold was not the tight end Urban Meyer was looking for. The only real surprise is that we would be talking about this type of scandal rather than simply another big name college coach who is out of their element in the NFL. Although the latter is quite open to debate.
  14. I know it won't happen but my dream would be Dan Arnold wanting out of that circus and coming back to us for next to nothing.
  15. Certainly would rather be us than the Steelers right now. Will say Steelers also got screwed by the refs for being called offsides on a blocked FG returned for a TD.

Raiders making this a game now.
  17. PFF is the sound I made reading those numbers. It's on a curve where 100 is the ability of a tacklng dummy.
  18. Still a big deal right now. It's the next game up, one after a bad loss.
  19. Something I noticed as well. Unfortunately something that experience with a clean pocket can't fix since that's generally not allowed with any semblance of consistency.
  20. At this point, Darnold is an asset we have to protect.
  21. Do those traffic cones that in front on Darnold on every play have names?
  22. Just want to point out that Boger did the 49ers/Packers game that also had atrocious refereeing. I pretty much expected crap calls going in and, boy, did the stripes delivered.
