  1. Baltimore is a better, more consistent franchise than us with better owners, better coaches, and a better GM. If they think it’s a bad idea to give him the contract he wants, I sure as hell don’t want the Panthers to give it to him PLUS multiple first round picks.
  2. Why do you think so many people were pissed they didn’t take the Burns trade?
  3. It’s a penalty only when the Panthers do it. What is so hard to understand about that?
  4. I find it very difficult to judge Fitterer from the outside looking in. I really doubt he is the final shot caller on these trades and find it much more likely that Tepper is the one approving or rejecting them. Either way, it was incredibly dumb to turn down that package for Burns.
  5. I’m more worried about what quality coach is going to want to come here if we fug around and win another game or 2 and end up drafting 5 or 6 or some poo.
  6. Hence “Tepper must have read huddle logic.” You quoted me. You’re free to stfu whenever you want.
  7. This is pretty funny considering you pooed then quoted my post and the first thing you said was “Lol dumb” when I wasn’t even talking to you. You’re pretty self-righteous there bud.
  8. It’s literally not. Pretending that it’s a hard and fast rule that applies at all times is incredibly stupid and naive. 1st round picks are 1st round picks. The Rams value them less than the Panthers should right now. It’s funny how on your high horse you are in this thread, calling people emotional, yet you are the one who has made like half the posts the past couple pages.
  9. Tepper must have read huddle logic about the 1sts only being worth 2nd and 3rd round picks.
  10. I get not trading DJ, but I just read an updated report that the Rams offered two 1sts AND a 2nd rd pick for Burns. Just absolutely stupid to turn that down.
  11. Oh yeah I don’t think they’re a t4 team this year.
  12. You mean this year or every year?
  13. Because having another SEC or Big 10 team in there is a much more desirable outcome?
  14. Lol Tennessee got absolutely trolled by the college football playoff committee when they ranked them 1 and Georgia 3. Gave the best team in the country a reason to come in with a chip on their shoulder. I was flabbergasted when I saw that ranking.
  15. I think the deal offered must have included the Panthers sending some picks back (based on precedent) which would have made it a little less than netting two full firsts. If they turned down two firsts no strings attached, it’s a shame.
  16. PJ Walker? You really talking about rolling with PJ Walker long term? Finally attempted more than 20 passes in a game and it tanked his completion percentage to 50% PJ Walker? Career 5/9 TD/INT PJ Walker? THAT PJ Walker? Somebody pinch me.
  17. Or just draft a QB in the 6th round or find one in free agency because Tom Brady or something.
  18. And like 80% of them came over the course of like 3 games a couple years ago
  19. There are a lot of posts on the huddle about how this upcoming QB class isn’t very good, but I don’t recall ever seeing so many obvious tank jobs leading up to the trade deadline. The Panthers beating the Bucs seemed to open the flood gates for some of these teams.
  20. It may be that the deal included some picks being sent back by the Panthers much like the Mack deal. We get the headlines of the 2 first rounders but there is almost certainly more to it than that.
  21. Lions trade Hockenson to the Vikes. We may have already screwed ourselves out of one of the top 2 QB prospects, unfortunately.
  22. Either way, the Raiders were just incompetent. The value of picks doesn’t change because an incompetent FO drafted poorly in the past.
  23. Dude they had Mike freaking Mayock running the draft what do you expect.
