the way I see it: Young has a higher ceiling, Stroud has a higher floor. Young could be a spectacular QB, or he could suck ass and we could go 3-14. Stroud could be a great QB, or he could be an average good QB and we could go 8-9 or 7-10. tbh to me there's not much difference between 3-14 and 8-9. in fact i'd kinda rather be 3-14 so we can suck and make changes, rather than drift in the middle for another 6 years, not bad enough to fire people but not good enough to win anything.

nah he actually was better from the pocket under pressure, not just at scrambling. he would stand "tall" and take hits while he delivered strikes.

Young's bullshit with hiding his weight is a red flag to me. Shows up at the combine at 204 but won't work out, then weeks later refuses to weigh again at his pro day. If you lost the weight, just be honest about it. we already saw you sit next to 5'9'' Steve Smith and look like his young child, refusing to divulge your weight isn't tricking anybody into thinking you're big, it just makes you look shady.

beat me to it. you rarely see great NFL QBs with the body type of those 2 guys. muscle mass inhibits flexibility. Brady, Manning, Mahomes, even Lamar Jackson are much closer to Stroud's body type than Levis's body type. he looks like a DE. Cam is the exception. he's always the exception. in any discussion you want to have or any scenario or topic, Cam is the exception.

i was all in for Stroud and then realized i heard of either of these guys for the first time a few weeks ago and was being stupid to hitch my wagon to anyone. Frank Reich is a QB guy, i think i'll trust his judgment on whomever we end up taking. Stroud looks really good at football, Young looks really good at football, Richardson is in great shape, and Levis i'm sure has people who care about him.
