  1. Interesting...Indy makes the list by firing Reich and we make it by hiring him. I guess that shows what Warren Sharp (and every Panther fan) thinks of Rhule.
  2. I wouldn't go so far as to call him a badass, but I agree with your premise. He went from a shitshow to adequate after losing his best weapon (CMC, duh) because of good coaching. And our coaching staff is waaaay better than Wilkes being forced to coach Rhule's team. No Wilkes hate there, I have nothing but love for the man, just facts.
  3. he has us at 8-8-1. Still might be good enough to win the NFCS.
  4. Yeah, but 2015 had once-in-a-decade QB play from Cam. He WAS the offense. I would be shocked (and elated) if Bryce even comes close to that production as a rookie. But I agree that our offense as a whole is certainly better than 2015.
  5. He's better than any QB that's played for us the last 4 years, which isn't saying much. On a good team, he'd be a good enough QB, but he's still a mid tier QB, which isn't good enough to elevate an old, shitty roster.
  6. I think he's a hellova player...as long as he doesn't have to play.
  7. Yes. You are both correct. That is a complete brain fart and was a stupid statement on my part. Thanks for pointing that out. I agree that our starters were really good that year, especially the middle. Norwell, Khalil, and turner were as good a G-C-G combo as we've ever had. Remmers was the weak link, and he was serviceable until the SB. But our depth was trash! Such fear inducing names as Amini Silatolu, Chris Scott, Daryl Williams, Fernando Velasco! Our current starters are solid, and our depth is significantly better IMO. We have a rookie and year 2 guard that may push for starting and a couple of decent (back up) vets in Erving and McCray. I predict that 2023 o-line will outperform 2015.
  8. By all accounts, Erv was a really helpful veteran presence for Okwonu last year.
  9. 2nd question: Is this allowed on the hill?
  10. Fuggin Tom Brady and Hertz have ruined that phrase for me.
  11. It looks like someone else made a duplicate thread. Mods, feel free to close, merge, demolish this thread.
  12. A few ex-panthers on the list: CMC # 27, Reddick #64 (I hate that we let him walk), Stephon Gilmore # 75. James Bradberry (one of my favorites while he was here) got an honorable mention.
  13. I know that we had a very similar post about Ekwonu A couple of weeks ago, but it's the slow news season. Plus this guy seems intelligent and his voice doesn't make me want to cry.
  14. I love that they had DJ at 93 and were willing to trade up if necessary. Makes me wonder how many other teams had him graded higher than the internet experts? He was the only guy that immediately felt like a reach, so I really want him to come in and kick some ass.
  15. The only way it changes is if the NFLPA bans turf. Which I think is right around the corner.
  16. I couldn't read the rest of the rankings without the subscription, but I'm curious about the other teams. I simply cannot believe that only the Texans are worse on offense than we are. Our WR's ARE questionable, whether that be how much gas ids left in the tank, can they stay healthy, or can they finally take a step forward. BUT, we vastly improved our passing game from the TE and RB (post CMC) viewpoint. We looked pretty good (not great) the 2nd half of last year with 0 passing game from TE or RB. Let's not kid ourselves, we played smash mouth football under Wilkes because that was basically our only option. Add into the position upgrades comments from Tremble about not really getting route trees from his coaches last season, and there's no way you can say we haven't improved.
  17. Nice view, You may be closer than the last seats I got.
