  1. When you're coming off a "worse ever in the history of the NFL" type season... mediocre sounds pretty damned good!
  2. I think he has a role here as a 5th or 6th WR / mentor to the younger guys. We are seeing more ad more WR's coming out of college with limited route trees. If they can produce in college with a handful of routes, coaches aren't asking them to expand. Between him and AT, there's a poo ton of knowledge to be passed to the youngsters. I think Renfrow makes it and Moore is cut. Assuming that he didn't go to crap in his year off. Theilen, XL, TMac, Horn, Coker, Renfrow. Moose, Hudson & George make PS.
  3. Didn't get a ton of touches and was out of football all of last year. That's a ton of wear and tear saved.
  4. Just from the highlight reels, he had 3 different QB's; none of which was very good.
  5. You definitely need to bring your gear to training to get Lil Moose to sign it too. That would be the coolest poo ever!
  6. I can't wait for that 1st pre-season catch! "M-O-O-O-O-O-O-S-E"!
  7. I wonder what the offers were? I get the feeling that not too many teams would want to break the bank with the long list of similarly ranked players out there after the 3-4 blue chip guys. Dropping back to 26 seems too far IMO without their next year's #1 being in the mix. Now dropping from #8 to #11 intrigues the crap out of me! Assuming that the offer was at least #11 and #75.
  8. This is, by far, the best description of our WR room last week ever!
  9. He should make the team based on his name alone!
  10. Agreed. There's a fine line between coddling and doing everything possible to help him succeed, WHICH WE ABSOLUTELY SHOULD BE DOING. That being said...we absolutely have put of eggs into the Bryce basket: "QB whisperer" head coach, $150 last year on FA guards, re-signed all of our o-line FA's this off season, back-to-back 1st round WR's, a VERY pricey trade up to pick him in the first pace. It's a lot for sure. However, if Bryce is not our future franchise QB (I think he is), all of these moves transfer favorably to whoever we end up with.
  11. Yes please. He's not just a blocker, her had good hands. Certainly not a speed demon, but if her gets open and doesn't let the first tackler bring him down, he's all right in my book!
  12. Good pass catcher and very good on pass protection per the "experts". Can't hate that. We still don't have a safety though.
  13. I looked at both of these guys and Andreas Keaton in my mock. I see them all going in rounds 3-4. Bowman is my favorite but also the consensus favorite and should go 10-15 picks before either of the others.
  14. Don't know him, but you gotta love this: Strengths Big back with frame and demeanor for volume carries. Gets going downhill without much dancing. Adequate burst with plus tackle-breaking ability between the tackles. Uses stiff-arm and shoulders to batter tacklers in space. Possesses an insatiable thirst to score when he smells paint. Smooth screen release with natural hands. Capable of handling protection asks with more work.
  15. But I was told the length of his arms didn't matter as much as the girth!
  16. kk and Star were STUDS on an already stacked defense. That was a good draft. Not to mention that Klein would have been a starter on most other teams.
  17. Yeah, apparently I have more confidence in BC as a starter and heir apparent to Moton than 32 NFL GM's. I don't think he even got a nibble on the open market. Still glad to have him as depth though.
  18. Big fan of this move. He's a raw RT with a ton of upside but only 1 real year of starting. Sit him behind Moton for 2025 and we may just have our RT locked down for the next few years. Worse case scenario, we have a solid, cheap back up.
