  1. So he holds out in 2027 instead? I wouldn’t take that. Panthers are facing a murderers row next season and were already primed to regress anyway. and again, gotta strike while you have leverage. He has it right now and the panthers don’t. I was thinking 3year $20M (ish) is a little more reasonable and easy for both sides to swallow. As for leverage...the Panthers have it all. He can play next year for $6.7M (with my numbers) or $1.1 (league min) or $0 (sits out). I can't imagine risking getting hurt for $1.1M while turning down guaranteed money. Also...by sitting out 2026, he looses all the momentum he had and becomes just another UDFA that had a few good games in the minds of GM's everywhere. No way someone keeps him in mind when handing out big contracts a year after playing a down. He's a good player and absolutely will get paid, but it won't break the bank.
  2. Exactly, Tom went to Tampa and won another SB, Bill drove the pats off a cliff without him. Easy to see who was the talent. Hell, TB was riding the bench until Bledsoe got hurt and wins his first SB the same season! BB had no idea what he had.
  3. I literally LOL when he said that! As much as I hate to admit it, as much as I hated Brady as a player, I kind of like him as an announcer. Greg is still much better!
  4. That was a good one, I just rewatched it after Snoop's netflix halftime show.
  5. Is that you Matt Khalil? The only lineman that could get in a 3 point stance with his hands on his hips.
  6. Meh, I always add on a couple of inches when talking about myself too.
  7. Or at least Nix, we may not have finished dead last with Sam on the roster. Trading the whole enchilada for Bryce the season before a historically good QB draft was the worse idea since the Vikes went all in for Herschel Walker.
  8. I agree with you in concept, but I think we've already made our bed by giving both guards big money. We have almost $80M tied up in G/Ts next year AND 1 OF THEM ISN'T PLAYING! We still need a starting LT for 2026. Another $18M+ is a hard pill to swallow, however you cook the books. Hunt - $24.3M Lewis - $16.7M Moton - $21.1M Ickey - $17.6M But it's all theoretic, because the Ravens won't let him walk, and if they do, he likely follows Harbaugh to the Giants per reports.
  9. I fear Tyler is about to get PAID. Extend Mays, draft a C/G to groom.
  10. I think I remember that happening on another kickoff (short by a couple of feet), but this was a touchback.
  11. We should fire Evero and hire him!
  12. Screw it! I'll trade them XL for Armani Rodgers right now.
  13. I was still talking about Mauigoa. I'm not a big fan of trade ups either, just saying that a lot of mocks have the lions taking him 2 picks ahead of us.
  14. Prevent defense prevents you from winning!
  15. I've seen a lot of people mocking him to the lions at 17, so we may need to leapfrog them unless he slips a little.
  16. Will be long gone by pick 19 lol Fano will likely be gone, but this guy may still be around, because he mainly plays RT. But I think he can make the switch, plus we're looking for a long term replacement for Moton, Also, he's huge and a SAMOAN (always draft a Samoan if possible).
  17. Go out there and make it happen Dmo!! The Panthers are definitely trending upward so hopefully our "we suck" tax will be a little lighter this off-season.
  18. Yep, being the team that goes for it on 4th down the most is NOT a good stat. Good teams seldom get to 4th down.
  19. If someone offers us a 3rd, I'll rent a horse trailer and deliver him and Dolla Bill there myself!
  20. He is. So we can have him for league minimum or he doesn't play next year. While that's nice for the team, I fully expect us to leverage it into getting a team friendly 3 yr $11M kind of deal, plus incentives.
  21. Yeppers! Blaming their "connection" is trying to get other GMs to think maybe XL will work with their QB. We're going into 2 good starters and a couple of developmental guys. All we need is a mid-tier FA and/or a 3 4th/5th rounder to hit.
  22. Yes, it was a back breaker, BUT Puka played it perfectly! There aren't many DB's that come down with that ball. I can't even be mad at Scott over that. however, In no way is he a starting caliber safety!
