Yes Dan Morgan posted here and unfortunately there were a few that made disparaging remarks. Really embarrassing and unfortunate. When David Carr played for the Panthers for one season there also some unkind, personal remarks posted. His young teenaged brother, Derek Carr, posted on here trying to defend his brother. also the Panthers had a field goal kicker named Shane Graham. his sister used to post on here with a username a Panther’s Sis.

Agree…interesting that Star is available. Guessing he is “done” at 32 and/or his best days are behind him.

Several years ago it was “addition by subtraction. The past 2-years, it is Subtraction by addition.

Past history Panthers have said they want to build via the draft. Think of this year as different…this year they build the team via free agency instead the draft.

Next years first could be a top 5 pick. Do not think this would be a good move to trade it for another pick this year.

I think if Campen was the oline coach last year the Panthers oline would be in a significantly better place this year. Hopefully they let this guy pick his guys. With that said, I have zero doubt they will be better than the past two years.

Tepper’s brand should be “keep losing” instead of “keep pounding”.

With todays NFL, is there really a shutdown corner? a strong front seven neutralizes a QB better than a “shutdown” corner. The Panthers defense would absolutely been better last year with Parsons…

Great read. I miss watching Luke. Micah Parsons would have been a very good “Luke” replacement. Would rather have a “shutdown MLB” vs a #1 corner….

Years ago, the Panthers did draft a few QB’s in later rounds…LeFors, Fasani, Pike, Weinke, but stopped doing this after Cam was drafted in 2011 until Will Grier was drafted in 2019. Crazy to think this team has only drafted two QB’s since 2011. They also brought in cheap free agents such as Delhomme, Testaverde, Carr, Moore, Anderson….and seemed to get away from this too.

When I first read this, I thought it said Tepper may not remain the owner. Than I was disappointed to find out what it really said.

Maybe Rhule wants to get fired. He can collect his salary from Tepper and then get another college job. Win/win for him.

If rumors are accurate, Hurney wanted to trade up to get Herbert. Obviously Rhule was not in agreement and we have Brown.

I think the Panthers have a QB plan but It will be difficult to correct all of the past decisions in one offseason. Since Rhule has been the HC, the Panthers have made a mess at QB. Hopefully getting a real NFL offensive coordinator will instill some better decisions. McAdoo was a terrible HC but a solid O- coordinator and worked with some really good QB’s.

Still need a QB1 with or without Sam. None of the rookies are ready to be a QB1. Other than guaranteeing Sam’s year 5, the other big mistake the Panthers made last year is not having any QB competition. They get rid of Sam they need two QB’s.

Perhaps but you have to believe Houston is also in the QB market unless they think Mills is it.

Yeah I think the Giants have #5 but they may be drafting a QB themselves unless Jones suddenly gets it.

Hope the Panthers don’t trade up to pick Pickett.

I don’t know if Rhule will improve but I definitely think that having Macadoo as the offensive coordinator will show a big improvement along with a competent offensive line coach.

If CMAC can stay healthy he is going to run like the wind.

If they wanted Minshew than why didn’t they just get him from Jax last year instead of trading for Sam? He would have been significantly cheaper and no lost 2nd round pick.

Tepper finally got some consistency…..Last year Stafford vetoed coming to Carolina. This year it’s Watson.
