    Last year's defense was pn the field the entire game. Hard to craft a fair, unbiased opinion due to that. Yes, physically bigger teams ran on us, but if our offense could have kept the opposing teams offense off the field even a fair amount, the team would have won more games. I don't expect the defense to struggle if our offense improves at all.

    You remember correctly. Teams started physically running down our throats. With the time our defense was spending on the field every game, it was a disaster. Fielding an actual offense will help a lot. Upgrades to the linebacker group will also see dividends.

    PJ is gone. Who is the first backup at the beginning of the year means nothing. If Mayfield starts, then they will focus on developing Matt, not Sam.

    These are my thoughts on this. We have made our QB room better. I know this upsets the fans that don't want us to win at all this season, but I don't give a fug for anyone that wants us to lose.
