Could is the key word though all around with counting on draft picks to pan out and finding 3 solid free agents that live up to their contracts that would have more impact than Adams. He is still an elite receiver for the next few years and could really help in Bryce's development, think of how big of an impact Tyreek has had on Tua. Do you think the Dolphins regret the trade and what they are paying him? It may be all a moot point anyway since I don't see Adams wanting to come here.
-
They are 7-16 with him - he left Green Bay because he grew up a Raiders fan and wanted to play with his college QB Derek Carr and thought he'd have a better shot to win there over the next few years. He also knew that Rodgers would play the will he or won't he come back game that Favre played every year and probably didn't want to have to deal with that. I'm guessing he sees that with McDaniels and co that organization isn't going anywhere. I don't blame him for wanting out - the real question is whether he'd actually want to come here (I'm guessing not).

Chances are whoever would give up a first for Burns is going to be picking late in the first round anyway, and we may be picking early in the second round with our own pick. There's a 95% chance that whoever you take there would not be able to contribute to the level that Davante Adams would be able to at any point in his career, much less right away when a weapon like that can help Bryce;s development now.

Not exactly…

Pretty big difference in their QBRs though

So does this....sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38688182/browns-qb-deshaun-watson-put-line-return

This was initially reported by PFT in July, not sure why this is resurfacing now around twitter. Aaron Rodgers asked for it in his Jets contract too (but didn't get it obviously). https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/aaron-rodgers-caleb-williams-were-among-the-players-jostling-for-equity

Per Adam Schefter. Yikes.
-
How does that compare with all OTs rather than just second year?
-
Seems like stacking Dolphins would have good results overall this year

Mr. Tepper’s dream came true…. He made the Pat McAfee Show….

Good ole Sizzlebuzz -
Just because I am rooting for Young to succeed now, because he my team's quarterback does not have anything to do with CJ Stroud. I haven't said a single negative word about Stroud, ever and never once posted that I wanted Young over him. Like usual, you are reading words that are not on your screen, are generalizing from voices in your head. It's ok to admit when you are wrong sometimes.
-
Since you've got the time on your hands, go back to November 2022 when I was arguing with people who were arguing that we shouldn't take Stroud because he went to Ohio State
-
Nope, was in favor of Stroud. Doesn't mean I feel the need to go out of my way to poo on Young, after all he is the quarterback of the team I root for. Feel free to dig into my post history if you'd like. Nice subject change (again).
-
You are changing the subject. You made the claim that people don't post PFF threads anymore in general and that there's no bias when they are (when it was brought up that Bryce had a good rating this week, but no thread was created). I point out that not only was last week's thread posted within minutes of the ratings coming out, the subject line even said Bryce was in the bottom 5, you attempted to handwave it away like it didn't exist even though you posted in the thread!
-
They're like Batman
-
Yeah, I'm sure you really didn't read that thread from last week and never saw it. Oh wait, guess who posted this in it: "Let's be honest if he were getting positive grades from PFF they would be getting posted in just about every thread about him. Every fanbase hates PFF when their team sucks"
-
There in fact was a thread posted last week just a few minutes after the rankings came out and in the subject line had the title Bryce in the bottom 5 yet again. No ulterior motives eh?

Thomas Brown if he turns this offense around

Only one I can think of is Dirk Koetter after Tampa fired Lovie Smith. That one didn't go too well! -
Tampa has also only played 5 games, so that helps Also, crazy that the only team in the NFL that's allowed more points than us is Denver

Kyle Bailey says Tepper isnt happy, wants changes now.

Sorry - just now seeing this. This is really discouraging. I would have thought that whoever Tepper hired would have been with the program of knowing that they were going to draft a young QB and develop them - hearing that Reich wanted another retread which is what he kept doing repeatedly in Indy (and what we kept doing repeatedly here post Cam) makes me realize all over again that this is a mess. -
If there was a re draft when would Young be taken?

Unless Houston would have decided to completely punt on QB (which I doubt would have happened), he goes to the Colts at #4.
