It is almost a given the Panthers will draft either Young or Stroud and going by their college performance both should be capable of being the starter if healthy.

The joy of the NFL. is you never know from year to year. Almost any team has a chance if they catch lightning in a bottle. The Falcons have done that twice in 1998 and 2016. But couldn't sustain success after those years. That is why we N.F.L. fans keep watching and keep coming back. The NFL has the best product in all pro sports. What professional league can say that almost every team has a chance to win a championship every year. Only the NFL. Most pro sports only have a handful of teams that can win a championship. But every year the N.F.L. can get one team that wasn't expected to be in the Super Bowl. What other professional league can say that? The other leagues are more predictable. The NFL is not. That is why they are the number one sports league in America!

It is a comfort to hear Luke Kuechly speak highly of Bryce Young. Now we have to wait and see what happens. I have my own preference about which QB the Panthers should draft between Young and Stroud. However, I will trust our new fine coaches, who have more insight than I do, to make the right call, and will gladly support and abide by their decision.

You may have something there.I am checking now to see if the NFL will allow a QB to wear stilettos in a game. LOL

I Like the signing and his 4.28-second 40-yard dash speed will certainly be an added plus toward him making the 53 man roster.

At 6'7" 270 Darnell Washington is built more like an offensive lineman and would be a great blocking TE but i feel he would be limited as a receiving TE. I personally view him as a 3rd Rd type player.

I find the rumor that C.J. Stroud would be hard to coach really hard to believe. If it were true, that fact would have surfaced long ago. I say hog wash and would be over joyed if him or Bryce Young became our QB.

There is no way I would ever think about taking the 6'4" 244 lb, Florida QB, Anthony Richardson at # 1 or #2 but if the Panthers had stayed put at #9, I would have been comfortable with taking him there.

I thought from the get go the Panthers would select Bryce Young # 1 and then it seemed to swing to C.J. Stroud, who I liked, now most seem to think it is pointed back to Young. This has been almost enough to make ones head spin.

These test can only prove or evaluate so much, it is still how the player performs under actual game conditions that counts.

We have to have that win for sure.

Since I am a Stroud fan, even though I also like Young a lot, I would take that trade if I were the Panthers in a heart beat and never once look back.

The Texans really want Bryce Young. Since I like C.J. Stroud, it would be a win for me if they swapped picks with the Panthers to obtain Young at #1 , leaving the Panthers to select Stroud at #2 plus an added draft selection or two.
