  1. That sceniro would be one of the best things that could happen to assure the Panthers success going forward.
  2. ) How did the Steelers just secure multiple future 3rd round picks? What am i missing here?
  3. It is a no brainer that the Panthers need to rebuild the present offensive and address the quarterback position. These are two things easier said than done! I can not help feeling that the Panthers will move back in the draft just far enough to select quarterback Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis and address the offensive line need with the draft pick they obtain by moving back. The key would be finding a willing trade partner and hoping no teams leap frogs in front of them for one of the top quarterbacks the Panthers desire.
  4. PFF has Reddick ranked 31st overall on the market and projects his incoming deal to be a three-year pact at an annual average of $11.67 million. So the question is, will the Panthers fork that over? With a fairly limited amount of cap space and a handful of areas that need addressing, Reddick may have to get that deal elsewhere.
  5. The Panthers 2021 season began with an inconsistent kicking game. Before Zane Gonzalez, they employed and later cut Joey Slye and Ryan Santoso. Gonzalez eventually established himself as one of the most consistent Panthers players. He made 20 of 22 field-goal attempts, including his last 17 tries. He was also 22 of 23 on extra-point attempts. Reports are they hopes to bring Gonzalez back this offseason after a Week 15 quad injury landed him on injured reserve. If they do, then the Panthers should feel confident in their kicking game. Read more at: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article258257485.html#storylink=cpy
  6. I would get pumped for the upcoming 2022 season if the Panthers GM Scott Fitterer could somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat by using the 6th overall draft pick and possible trades to successfully stop the teams current downward trend.
  7. Burns is a quality player that could be elite when it’s all said and done. But he does leave plenty of sacks out on the field and gap discipline against the run is another area of his game that needs improvement. Having said that,I am in favor of trading him for draft picks to keep from paying him the big salary he will eventually command, if creative deals can be worked out.
  8. Stafford was with Derroit 12 seasons, only played in and lost three playoff games with the Lions. I would be surprised if Stafford who is not mobile, playing behind the Panthers rag tag OL and the inept coaching staff, could have elevated them enough to make the playoffs
  9. Jaycee gets a lot of advice about training, staying fit and the NFL in general from his father Joe Horn, a former NFL great himself, who played mostly for New Orleans in a 12 year career, so this is a big plus for him going forward.
  10. I agree. If we are hell bent on taking a QB at #6 i would rather have Willis. He may not be a day one starter but it appears he has a tremendous upside. Drafting Willis would require patience, something the present Panthers organization seems to lack. It would be sad if they passed on him attemping to get a QB to start right off and he became a star in the league a few years later.
  11. I stand corrected. You are are probably right..
  12. Correct. Steve Smith will be our first drafted player select to the HOF.
  13. 1 Evan Neal OT 2 Ikem Ekem Ekwonu OT 3 Charles Gross OT 4 Trevor Penning OT 5 Tyler Smith OT 6 Tyler Linderbaum Center
  14. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/scott-fowler/article258007778.html It is great to see Sam Mills finally receive this well deserved high honor.
  15. The fact that Thomas Fletcher was placed on season-ending injured reserve on August 31, 2021 with a hip injury was probably the deciding factor in resigning JJ Jansen to a one year contract..
  16. Kamara's defense: "I was just standing there minding my own business when this stranger came up all of a sudden and ran into my fist, not once but 10 or 12 times."
  17. Are you basing your assumption that Alvin Kamara "is a pretty chill likable dude" because you know him personally or are you just guessing?
  18. Just read this forum and you will soon realize the Panthers fanbase as a whole will not be pleased no matter who is picked. Thankfully, the choice will not be left up to them to decide.
  19. This is a massive draft for Matt Rhule, who might have to make the playoffs in 2022 to keep his job. Fitterer and the Panthers could do a lot of things with the #6 pick, take a quarterback, an offensive tackle, best player available, or possibly even trade out of it and accumulate more picks in return. In my opinion, the most popular and most obvious thing for the Panthers to do would be to take an offensive tackle now and a quarterback nex year.. One or more of the top rated offensive tackles,Evan Neal, Ikem Ekwonu or Charles Cross should be available when the Panthers pick.
  20. Pickett's agent places add on E Bay: "Wanted one slightly used hand strecher".
  21. Tom Brady retires as the player with the most Super Bowls in NFL history and an assured spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as soon as he's eligible for enshrinement in five years. Brady also leaves the NFL unlike many older players — his play didn't drop off as he aged. Brady was 485-of-719 passing for 5,319 yards and 43 touchdowns in 2021. He led the NFL in completions, attempts, yards and TDs this season and will likely finish in the top two of NFL MVP voting with Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. If Brady wins the MVP award, he’ll finish his career as a four-time MVP. Brady is currently tied with Rodgers, Jim Brown and Johnny Unitas at three. Only Peyton Manning (5) has more MVPs. Brady retires as the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, quarterback wins in both the regular and postseason, Super Bowl appearances (10) and Super Bowl victories (7).
  22. I had all but forgotten about this Peyton Manning escapade and at the time never reached a conclusion whether Manning was guilty or innocent. However, there has always been something about his smug attitude and arrogant nature that turns me off, causing me to dislike him. Peyton and his mild mannered acting brother Eli, seem total opposite in their demeanor,
  23. Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford. For only the second time ever, two former No. 1 overall picks will face off in the Super Bowl (only other time was Peyton Manning and Cam Newton in 2016).
