Kellen Moore, a former Boise State quarterback who spent several seasons as a backup in Detroit and Dallas, had previously called plays for the Cowboys offense since 2019. Moore had an impressive season in 2022, despite starting quarterback Dak Prescott's thumb injury, which kept him out for five weeks. Dallas ranked 11th in total offense despite a rash of injuries on that side of the football. The 34-year-old Moore interviewed for the Carolina Panthers' head-coaching vacancy, which was ultimately filled by fired Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich. He was previously a finalist for the Miami Dolphins' opening last year, but that job was given to Mike McDaniel. He was quickly hired by the LA Chargers as their new offensive coordinator following his firing from Dallas, where he took over a unit that boasts a former Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowler in quarterback Justin Herbert,

Tepper wanting to hire Belichick is just Cams guess and opinion. If Tepper is smart ( which I question) he will go after a young offensive minded coach to take over the present train wreck, known as the Carolina Panthers.

The Frank Reich firing was not a shocking move and was probably something that needed to be done at some point.

If the Panthers offensive line is not the worst in the NFL it is close and today with the injuries it just got worse.

During his entire head coaching career, Frank Reich's two teams combined for a record of 42-48-1 across six seasons including going 1-2-0 in the playoffs. Knowing Reich's' past six year record, how in the world did Tepper think he would instantly go from being a career loser to a sudden winner?

We will know more next year when we can improve the offensive line to give him more protection and get some receivers that run the correct routes and have the ability to get open.
