  1. The Panthers need to re-sign Foreman, a 27 year old power back with little wear on his body that will be playing behind a good offensive line. I believe a 2 Year $10 Million Deal gets Foreman re-signed. NFL teams in general, will usually not value a 27 Year old RB so highly as to give out big contracts,
  2. The Ravens made a big mistake when they let Bozeman go, when they could have resigned him at a team friendly price. He selected by the Ravens in the sixth round (215th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent the first two years of his career at left guard before moving to his natural position at center last season where he started all 16 games.
  3. I would like for the Panthers to retain Steve Wilks as head coach but if they don't, Ken Dorsey, Buffalo Bills first-year offensive coordinator would be my choice. Plus, Tepper is offensive minded so this hiring might suit him also. Ken Dorsey is doing an excellent job with Josh Allen and company so far, Miami Dolphins loss and post-game temper tantrum notwithstanding. He’s also young, has a relatively well-known name (especially in the South) from his time as QB of the Miami Hurricanes, and was with the Panthers for six seasons, including for Cam Newton’s MVP season and the team’s last Super Bowl appearance.

    Fantasy advice

Which QB did you decide on?
  5. At this point Wilks is a part of the team’s DNA, and has been largely for the last decade. The players are responding to him, the team is swinging way above its weight class with mediocre talent, and there simply isn’t a deep pool of possible coaches to pull from. Wilks deserves a chance, a real one. An opportunity to get 2-3 years to build a franchise in his defensive image. It wouldn’t be a sexy hired that would garner lots of national buzz, but the best coaches rarely do when the dust settles.
  6. What if the team does nothing as you suggest and Corral proves in training camp he is not the answer, plus a recent drafted QB is not ready to start? There has to be a backup up plan before training camp and a veteran QB will have to be involved in the plan, whether it is Sam Darnold or some other free agent QB.
  7. It would not be out of the question to sign the best free agent QB available and if there is still a QB left in the draft the Panthers like they can select him. This way the team would have a reliable free agent QB, plus two young ones to chose from or develop as the season progresses.
  8. R.I.P. Paul Silas. He was probably the best coach the team ever had.
  9. Only bring back Cam to address the team in a motivation speech or something along that line. I am regretfully afraid Cam's playing days are behind him,
  10. I am not sure were the Panthers defense is ranked but i do know it has improved to the point it is very good and is young enough to get even better.
  11. I am all in for trying to go to the playoffs and say to heck with a slow down to try obtaining lower draft choices that may not turn out as expected. I will take an aggressive, forward thinking playoff push, as opposed to a passive draft tanking process every time.
  12. Most of us can agree that winning football games starts with a good OL and DL.
  13. Gone all to soon! RIP Coach Mike Leach.
  14. Having Luke Kuechly on the Panthers coaching staff would be an added plus. Luke would bring the solid leadership skills and vast playing knowledge he displayed when was an elite Panthers linebacker.
  15. How obvious can you get? There should have been an ejection and a penalty given for his actions.
  16. Dallas safety Roy Williams said it was Smith's mouth -- not hands -- that got him thrown out. "He said some harsh words to the ref," Williams said. "The ref didn't like it, and he got ejected, plain and simple."
  17. I could hardly believe that Marshall caught that ball without it touching the turf. This almost unbelieve catch was attributed to consentration, skill and lots of luck.
  18. Come on man, lighten up. Burns played his azz off all game but for some unknown reason, the whole team, not just him, seemed to relax on the touch down. These things happen in football from time to time, so there is no need being critical and pointing fingers.
  19. I am all in favor of retaining WR Laviska Shenault but would like to see more upgrade gained at that position by a trade or the 2023 NFL Draft.
  20. Don't be to sure because money talks and coaches tend to listen if the price and future promise is appealing.
  21. Just think, as good as he currently is, the best is still yet to come from Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn.
  22. Wilks would make a very good Panthers head coach. He would be a consistent winner if he has the right asst. coaches and the Panthers finally settle in on the starting QB, in addition to upgrading the WR and TE positions.
  23. The same as they would on any head coach that lost a couple of games. Those that always want a perfect team and perfect head coach will continue to be disappointed.
