They did it last year with Teddy and now they are 0 for 2. He is basically a rookie, they were wrong. It was the Jets, he is doing worse here. It's the line but he looks just as bad when they did block. We were expecting CMC to be healthy but we ran him into the ground to make up for how bad Darnold plays. Gase was terrible yet Rhule is doing the same level awful product. Excuses for people going through the stages of coping.

Doing any fetish in a safe a responsible manor is one thing, playing fast and lose kind of makes the risk or shock part of the kink, that is the sleaze sir. It brings unwilling into it that changes the dynamic. As you said, there are safe places where that is welcome but if this dynamics is what he sought then he is a sleaze ball. That or he is just incredibly stupid. Maybe both. Either way, no bueno.

At the very least, he is a sleazy POS. At the worst...At one time I thought he was redeemable but that ship sailed. I honestly don't know what it would take to have any respect for him as a human at this point. Just sad and disgusting. I'm fine with waiting it out and seeing how the process plays out when he was in Houston but if we trade for him then that's a huge 'hell no'. Complete failure at all levels, players and staff. Sam and the other duds we brought on, except the rookies, this offseason all had NFL tape and most of it was beyond bad and/or sever injury concerns. Hubris in player development goes so far before you have to admit it was also very bad evaluation. Beyond a handful of players worth keeping, the rest could be dumped tomorrow and it's a hard bet to make against it that not being an instant improvement simply by addition through subtraction. At this point, anything less than quantifiable production is BS and a waste of time. There is so much blame to share and so little worthy of praise.

I would give up two seats to any remaining games to sit through that meeting with an alcohol drink in my hand. Hell, take the rest my tickets this year.

All those seats should be hot. This is truly a team effort in failure. I hope Tepper gave Rhule the same talk.

Sam's brain is and always has been the issue. The mirage of it being bad coaching and team up in NJ just don't want to admit the guy has an NFL QB body but not the brain. He was this way in school and up in NJ, the rest is just a desperate fantasy or plain bad player scouting. The guy is a complete waste of an NFL arm.

That's how it goes, even BB failed in Cleveland. Brady was ridiculously raw and inexperienced when we hired him. He still has a high ceiling, he just isn't close to it yet. I always hoped they would go with an old hand at OC but this staff has been allergic to meaningful NFL experience. Just not balanced and here we are.

A little is post meltdown loss emotion but at this point it's reasonable to expect someone to get fired sooner than later. I agree it's still to early. I expect a fire to be lit by Tepper but the firing to happen later if this continues to fall apart.

At this point I am more interested in seeing a player traded away then a trade for someone.
