  1. People keep saying Bryce is going to get Carr'ed. What they forget or ignore is that David Carr had a 7 step drop back and his 5 step wasn't much better, from what I remember because of his throwing motion would be too easy to bat down with a 3 step drop. His blocking stunk but he was also part of those epic 76 sacks by holding the ball and not seeing well in a collapsing pocket. If Bryce gets Carr'ed it's because he was always that and it just doesn't translate to the NFL well. Playing in shotgun is Bryce's 7 step drop. Hell it might actually be a 7 step drop if they ever played him under center.
  2. The well is poisoned and just doing it half ass again will just be more of the same. Unfortunately the poisoner is also the owner. They spent too much and look too bad to admit anything yet in this build and I have only seen blame with little meaningful change from the Tepper. I can't imagine Tepper is at the point where he would hire a good hire vs hiring what he wants, someone he likes who will do the things he wants vs everything being on the table and turn them lose after verifying their competency and direction. He needs help and has no one around is that is qualified because of the kinds of people he hires. Burn it all down, flip everyone and just start from the ashes.
  3. I wish I didn't because it shouldn't matter. I wish the owners names didn't matter either but these teams are toys for them to play with. I wonder what the percentage of owners that actually know anything valuable about football actually is. Davis was born into it and he is as bad as his haircut.
  4. The scheme from last year and this line would be even better but I couldn't argue with your take either.
  5. The talent level is low and the coaching level is also low. The staff was way overhyped. They took the low level of talent and built scheme where it made everything worse. I just can't get behind either being good at this point. This team could win games with Dalton and the oline using last year's easy scheme. 'But the online play' is avoiding this truth. Otherwise, true. It was an away game after their only win bad on Sunday.
  6. The best Bryce has put together is a game where the team that earned the #2 pick completely did not come to play that day...Then lost by 2 points...Holy fug that is not something to bring up in support even if the desperate masses came out of the woodwork for a 1 week celebration before another long hibernation. It moved him from 31st to 27th lol Link. I can't wait to see this weeks numbers...
  7. Didn't their HC lose the team in the last team meeting? I didn't look too closely but that was the gist I got on a quick scan through the NFL. It's bad in Pantherland but that's like a Myer to Rhule comp, there is a gap in how bad in those bads. It's not just the HC and GM, they also sat the QB those 2 picked on a giant contract and won with his backup. You sure Tepper is ready to pull that trigger too? I think I am ready but it's looks like it's going to take a little more time for this to get to the spot it needs to be. And then there is the Tepper angle, what did he do and how does that affect the blame for where this all is? GM should be easy but is it really?
  8. They run a failing scheme to accomidate for that. Lets see him under center for a few plays and let the oline do what they are actually good at doing. Or run a QB sneak.
  9. But them sexy stats... People want to build that around Bryce but it doesn't win SBs.
  10. Tua is putting great numbers but can't win agaisnt good teams. 0-3 and 17 points avg. That is not a contender. The Lawrence comps are even funniers. It's Lawrence every time and Bryce isn't close.
  11. For the 'build a great team around him' people. That does not look like a great blueprint either.
  12. He is a subpar NFL talent and his mental abilities are nowhere near enough to bail him out. Teams should use him as an example why to let players fall in the draft. He was never a first round talent. He actually is the problem on offense. They tooled it to him and it brought out the worst of the oline and that effects the rest. They are trying to play to his stregths and it's away from wins. Play Andy in a mauler oline scheme and they win more than 1 game at this point. Out of the top 4 options they chose the worst one to bring in with the team they had set up.
  13. I know exactly what you are talking about. She jumped and smiled when he did it. As telling as his drunk interview and he gave Mixon a dirty look when he didn't like what he was hearing.
  14. Some are still expecting Brees lol. The runs I saw where from complete disrespect from the D. Reminded me of Thomas' receptions.
  15. We fired Rhule and not only did worse but also very similar moves. Gonna have to wait for anything concrete. The current poostew is way too new to snap under it's massive failures yet but it's headed their way.
  16. Sub Teddy Bridgewater territory. Game manager that doesn't allow a team to do enough to make it work. How do you build a good enough Offense like Alex Smith had when he is so limited? He would be on his 5th year option before they could build a team around his limitations...that is if they could build a team anyways. Dude is NFL chum between his limitations and the teams
  17. I predict I will sleep through this one and be very happy about my life choices.
  18. Good. He will throw his weight around and people will leak the crap he made them do and we can all finally see who did what in this mess. All of those people have contracts so they are getting paid either way. He has no clue about how any of this works
  19. Yeah that is the quality level I have witnessed from a Tepper team. I have also witnessed that smell so what is wrong with all of us lol
  20. Moton at LT would just be more of the same to me, I have seen enough to think ickey is better than Moton will ever be at LT. Neither are well built for this blocking scheme and I think Ickey is just a better version of the same mold while Moton has the experience. Either blow it up or waste value making players do a position change that is more damage control than an actual good idea.
  21. Which is why I said ditch Moton and flip him over there. Whatever, just moving him to OG at this point is a huge failure because he could play LT in a different scheme.
  22. Addicted to the need to huff fumes from a portapotty at a music festival in August.
