    I appreciate those guys sticking up for the fans. I’ve noticed since Sunday that sports media has turned from making fun of us to feeling really bad for us. No one is laughing. Just genuine concern. Pat was 100% right. It’s going to be impossible to get good free agents without overpaying if they continue to be this bad.

    Recency bias. For all of Hurney’s issues, he built two Super Bowl rosters. Beane has yet to build one. DM was 2nd in command and Fitts best friend. I don’t buy the narrative that Dan was disagreeing with Fitt’s every move. The last few years were a collaborative effort and Dan was right in the mix.

    Both of those GMs built Super Bowl rosters. Fitt is not that pedigree.

    RBs aren’t running anywhere until we get a QB that can throw. Teams are stacking the box.

    It would only be a problem if ticket sales became non-existent and ratings took a significant slump. It has never happened though.

    Exactly, this defense has been bad for a long time. Clowney couldn’t beat a rookie OT 1:1 yesterday.

    If Bryce keeps playing like this, he’ll break down mentally by the end of October. Looking at him yesterday, I think he’ll bench himself if he has another game like yesterday.

    We really need a vet QB to come in and help with team culture and allow the new rookie to sit. unfortunately, we don’t have the money for that.

    Been saying that for a long time. Last year, teams could score on us at will. Most just chose to play vanilla because they knew our offense couldn’t score.

    More preseason starts would not have fixed this. It just would have exposed it earlier.

    I bet he’ll be benched at halftime next week. He’ll get one more start after that before Dalton takes over to give Bryce a break for a few games.

    He needs to stay as long as Canales is here. For the sake of being able to hire someone good, Tepper needs to avoid the fire button for at least 3 years.
