  1. https://www.panthers.com/rockhill/progress-updates
  2. Was that the cheerleader who made her way up to VP?
  3. Rhule took a lot of flak for hiring Baylor and Temple coaches, but I get it now. With his particular style, hire all new staff that wasn’t familiar with him could have been a disaster. The coaching culture in that building is now set and he can bring in whoever and they’ll assimilate.
  4. Rhule seems like a softer version of those guys though. He coaches hard but has the ability to connect with players as well.
  5. Interesting quote a about the D line coach Rhule fired: “just wasn’t the right fit in terms of how I want the position played and taught.” I guess Rhule does fire coaches after all.
  6. If we can get jimmy G AND a pick that would be ok. We can use that pick to move up in the draft.
  7. If we ever become relevant for any length of time, he is gone.
  8. Exactly. What did Newton expect him to say? Screw the coaches, Teddy is my guy.
  9. This just reinforces my theory that Newton outsources his job to cheap overseas ghost writers.
  10. Yeah maybe. That thing last week about Houston wanting 2 defensive starters in a trade was clearly directed at the 49ers. Will they trade Bosa + another starter? I’m not so sure.
  11. He’s bringing the Seahawks mentality here. He’s going to be aggressive. He’ll win some trades (beast mode), he’ll lose some trades (Jimmy Graham). We are no longer a conservative franchise. Buckle up.
  12. We went all D last year. Lets go QB in every round this year!
  13. Exactly what I was going to say. We’ve now publicly communicated that TB is out. Sure would be awkward to have to bring him back.
  14. Not sure it’s that clear. LA gave up picks as compensation for Goff’s bad contract.
  15. OR they trade that pick to someone who needs a QB.
  16. He’s not coming here. I’m glad we’re being aggressive but we’re just being used to drive the price up.
  17. Starkey didn’t last long. How hard can it be to do marketing for a nfl team?
  18. Prolonging this drama and making it worse will just take the hate and scrutiny to a new level. He needs to come out, say what happened, apologize and say they are moving on without Watson and he’ll learn from this as an owner. I know that won’t happen, but still...
  19. That’s not the sentiment I’m seeing from their fans. The fans are on Watson’s side.
  20. Agreed, but his ego is going to take a huge hit when he becomes the pariah of Houston over this. The man is going to get booed at every home game if he screws Watson over.
  21. I know the Texans aren’t smart, but they should do this now before some of these teams start falling in love with QBs or other players in the draft. That could change the calculus for a lot of orgs. Honestly though, there is no way they are ok with the leader of their team dragging down the entire locker room next season. They could end up losing a lot more than just Deshaun. Its over and they know it.
  22. I know! They usually devolve into blaming the president or ex-president for our poor QB play.
  23. The ‘casuals’ are not happy about it. You can see it in a lot of comments on the panthers FB page.
  24. Let’s be real. It’s highly unlikely those would be 3 pro bowl players. Picks have so much perceived value because they give teams hope. Besides, Fits comes from Seattle who have been terrible in the first round in recent years.
