    Luke said in an interview last year that he’d really like to be an OC. Thinks it would be fun to come up with ways to attack defenses.

    Yeah, if all you saw is uptown I get it. Uptown is meant for work. Not so much entertainment. Covid really hurt it too. Having said that, I’ve spent time in all major American cities and most ‘downtown’ areas are dumps now compared to CLT so I’ll take it.

    They’re having to shift strategy. With the Panthers scaling back access in favor of in-house media (which is typically favorable), CO is being more critical to differentiate. I guess the Panthers could retaliate but it’s not like there’s much more they could do considering how much they’ve already cut off external media. They killed off all the leverage they had.

    He’s every bit as good as Herbert if not better. He just doesn’t have anyone to learn from.

    I wish one of our ‘savvy’ beat reporters would bring this up to Rhule. I’d love to see his response.

    I think Rhule’s strength is recruiting and motivating young college guys. He’s not a football tactician. He really should re-evaluate his strengths and stick to them. He’d be much happier.

    Rhule NEEDS a former NFL HC as his OC. He won’t survive without adding experience to his staff.

    It’ll be interesting if Rhule goes against his ‘I don’t fire coaching staff’ rule. Bad players will turn in bad performances, but having a line turn in a historically bad performance is more than just bad players being bad. A ‘winning culture’ should have zero tolerance for that crap.

    Why has the o line coach not been fired? A showing like that demands an immediate firing.

    I think he’s really good with young men who need a tough and compassionate father figure in their life.

    Yes, prob time for you to stop watching games until he is replaced 2-3 years from now.

    Wow. We lost by less than a touchdown with a guy at QB that has been with us for a week. They’ve had their QB for two years. We would have won if our D line was a little bigger physically so we could stop the run. You know Ron was 8-18 his first two seasons here. And that was with Cam. He’s pro level because Richardson gave him the time to become pro-level.

    So Ron has a worse record but is a better coach? Got it. Ron had the size advantage on our D. That’s it. It had nothing to do with better scheming or anything like that.

    Taylor Heineke dominated Tampa. I guess ‘college coach’ Bruce Arians needs to be fired.

    That little college coach put together a top 5 D in two years.

    This is exactly what it is. Reddick and Burns are getting abused. It’s always a trade off with DE’s size or speed/agility.

    We have smaller edge rushers and it shows when we go against bigger o linemen.
