1. For most teams in our situation, QB hell can last years or decades. Finding an Elite QB is 95% pure luck. 2. We’re not going to be able to build through FA. We need to build through the draft. That’s where our big players will come from. 3. If Rhule and co stick around, it will take them a few more years to become savvy enough in the ways of the nfl to compete. He needs a former HC at the OC spot to speed up this process.

Folks…given our history with Richardson, Carruth, and Hardy, trading for Watson would be the biggest PR nightmare Charlotte has ever seen. 10x that disaster if we trade away a fan favorite.

Draft picks will be contingent on how many games he plays. If he never plays a down we’ll pay nothing….unless we give up players that is.

The only HCs that work out long term have elite QBs. Everyone else churns out. You can’t stay if you don’t win consistently. You can’t win consistently if you don’t have an elite QB. I don’t know if Rhule will stay, but the next staff won’t be the answer either without a real QB.
